1 Então o anjo me mostrou o rio da água da vida, transparente como cristal, que fluía do trono de Deus e do Cordeiro, 2 no meio da rua da cidade. Em cada margem do rio, está a árvore da vida, que produz doze frutos, dando seu fruto de mês em mês. As folhas da árvore são para a cura das nações.

1 Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, clear as crystal. It was flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb 2 through the middle of the city's street. On each side of the river was the tree of life, bearing twelve kinds of fruits, and it bears its fruit every month. The leaves of the tree are for the healing of the nations.

3 Ali jamais haverá maldição. O trono de Deus e do Cordeiro estará na cidade e os Seus servos O servirão. 4 Eles verão Sua face e o Nome de Deus estará na testa deles. 5 Não haverá mais noite, e eles não precisarão da luz da lâmpada e nem da luz do sol, porque o Senhor Deus brilhará sobre eles, e reinarão para sempre e sempre.

3 There will no longer be any curse. The throne of God and of the Lamb will be in the city, and his servants will serve him. 4 They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads. 5 There will be no more night; they will have no need for the light of a lamp or sunlight because the Lord God will shine on them. They will reign forever and ever.

6 O anjo me disse: "Estas palavras são fiéis e verdadeiras. O Senhor Deus dos espíritos dos profetas mandou Seu anjo para mostrar aos Seus servos o que deve acontecer em breve". 7 "Olha! Eis que venho sem demora! Bem-aventurado é o que obedece às palavras da profecia deste livro".

6 The angel said to me, "These words are trustworthy and true. The Lord, the God of the spirits of the prophets, sent his angel to show his servants what must happen soon." 7 "Look! I am coming soon! Blessed is the one who obeys the words of the prophecy of this book."

8 Eu, João, sou o que ouviu e viu essas coisas. Quando ouvi e vi isso, prostrei-me aos pés do anjo que me mostrou essas coisas, para adorá-lo. 9 Ele me disse: "Não faças isso! Eu estou ao serviço de Deus como tu e como os teus irmãos, os profetas, e daqueles que obedecem às palavras deste livro. Adora a Deus"!

8 I, John, am the one who heard and saw these things. When I heard and saw them, I fell down to worship at the feet of the angel who had been showing me these things. 9 He said to me, "Do not do that! I am a fellow servant with you, with your brothers the prophets, and with those who obey the words of this book. Worship God!"

10 Ele me disse: "Não seles as palavras da profecia deste livro, porque o tempo está próximo. 11 Aquele que é injusto continue fazendo injustiça. Aquele que é impuro continue na impureza. Aquele que é justo continue fazendo o que é justo. Aquele que é santo, seja santificado ainda".

10 Then he said to me, "Do not seal up the words of the prophecy of this book, for the time is near. 11 The one who is unrighteous, let him continue to do unrighteousness. The one who is morally filthy, let him continue to be morally filthy. The one who is righteous, let him continue to do what is righteous. The one who is holy, let him continue to be holy."

12 "Olhe! Eis que venho sem demora. Minha recompensa está Comigo para retribuir a cada um segundo as suas obras. 13 Eu sou o Alfa e o Ômega, o Primeiro e o Último, o Começo e o Fim.

12 "Look! I am coming soon. My reward is with me, to pay back each one according to his deeds. 13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.

14 Bem-aventurados os que lavam suas vestes para que tenham o direito de comer da árvore da vida e entrar na cidade através dos portões. [Nota: Em vez de "Bem-aventurados os que lavam suas vestes", algumas cópias mais antigas trazem: "Bem-aventurados os que obedecem aos Seus mandamentos"] 15 Ficarão de fora os cães, os feiticeiros, os sexualmente imorais, os assassinos, os idólatras e todos os que amam e praticam a mentira.

14 Blessed are those who wash their robes so that they will have the right to eat from the tree of life and to enter the city through the gates. [[ Instead of, " Blessed are those who wash their robes, " some ancient copies of the Greek text read, " Blessed are those who do his commandments " . ]] 15 Outside are the dogs, the sorcerers, the sexually immoral, the murderers, the idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices falsehood.

16 Eu, Jesus, mandei Meu anjo para vos testemunhar essas coisas em favor das igrejas. Eu sou a raiz e a descendência de Davi, a brilhante Estrela da Manhã".

16 I, Jesus, have sent my angel to testify to you about these things for the churches. I am the root and the descendant of David, the bright morning star."

17 O Espírito e a Noiva dizem: "Vem"! Aquele que ouve diga: "Vem"! Todo aquele que tem sede venha, e todo o que desejar, receba gratuitamente da água da vida.

17 The Spirit and the Bride say, "Come!" Let the one who hears say, "Come!" Whoever is thirsty, let him come, and whoever desires it, let him freely have the water of life.

18 Eu testemunho a todos os que ouvem as palavras da profecia deste livro: Se alguém acrescentar algo, Deus acrescentará a ele as pragas escritas neste livro. 19 Se alguém tirar as palavras da profecia deste livro, Deus tirará a sua parte da árvore da vida e da cidade santa, as quais estão escritas neste livro. [Nota: Algumas versões mais antigas trazem: "Deus tirará a sua parte no Livro da Vida e na cidade santa, sobre as quais está escrito neste livro"]

18 I testify to everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues that are written about in this book. 19 If anyone takes away from the words of this book of prophecy, God will take away his share in the tree of life and in the holy city that are written about in this book. [[ Some older copies read " God will take away his share in the Book of Life and in the holy city that are written about in this book " . ]]

20 Aquele que testemunha estas coisas diz: "Sim! Eis que venho sem demora". Amém! Vem, Senhor Jesus! 21 Que a graça do Senhor Jesus esteja com todos. Amém.

20 The one who testifies to these things says, "Yes! I am coming soon." Amen! Come, Lord Jesus! 21 The grace of the Lord Jesus be with all.
