1 E olhei e vi o Cordeiro em pé sobre o Monte Sião. Com Ele estavam os cento e quarenta e quatro mil, que tinham escritos em suas testas o nome Dele e do Seu Pai. 2 Ouvi uma voz do céu, um som como o barulho de muitas águas e como de um grande trovão. E a voz que eu ouvi era também como harpistas tocando suas harpas.

1 I looked and saw the Lamb standing on Mount Zion. With him were 144,000 who had his name and his Father's name written on their foreheads. 2 I heard a voice from heaven sounding like a roar of many waters and loud thunder. The sound I heard was also like harpists playing their harps.

3 Eles cantavam um novo cântico diante do trono, diante dos quatros seres viventes e dos anciãos. Ninguém podia aprender o cântico, exceto os cento e quarenta e quatro mil que foram comprados da terra. 4 Estes são os que não se contaminaram com mulheres, porque se mantiveram sexualmente puros. São estes que seguem o Cordeiro por onde Ele for. Estes foram comprados dentre a humanidade como primícias para Deus e para o Cordeiro. 5 Mentira alguma foi encontrada em suas bocas; eles são irrepreensíveis.

3 They sang a new song before the throne and before the four living creatures and the elders. No one could learn the song except for the 144,000 who had been bought from the earth. 4 These are the ones that have not defiled themselves with women, for they have kept themselves sexually pure. It is these who follow the Lamb wherever he goes. These were redeemed from among mankind as firstfruits for God and for the Lamb. 5 No lie was found in their mouth; they are blameless.

6 Eu vi outro anjo voando no meio do céu, que tinha a mensagem eterna, boas novas para proclamar aos que vivem sobre a terra, a toda nação, tribo, língua e povo. 7 Ele proclamava em alta voz: "Temei a Deus e dai-Lhe glória, pois a hora do Seu juízo chegou. Adorai Aquele que fez o céu, a terra, o mar e as fontes das águas".

6 I saw another angel flying in midair, who had the eternal gospel to proclaim to those who live on the earth—to every nation, tribe, language, and people. 7 He called out with a loud voice, "Fear God and give him glory. For the hour of his judgment has come. Worship him, the one who made the heaven, the earth, the sea, and the springs of water."

8 Um segundo anjo o seguiu, dizendo: "Caiu, caiu a grande Babilônia, que persuadiu todas as nações a beberem o vinho da sua paixão imoral".

8 Another angel—a second angel—followed, saying, "Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great, who persuaded all the nations to drink the wine of her immoral passion."

9 Seguiu-os ainda um terceiro anjo, falando em alta voz: "Se alguém adorar a besta e a sua imagem, e receber a marca na testa ou na mão, 10 também beberá o vinho do furor de Deus, que foi derramado sem mistura no cálice da Sua ira. E será ainda atormentado com fogo e enxofre diante dos Seus santos anjos e diante do Cordeiro.

9 Another angel—a third angel—followed them, saying with a loud voice, "If anyone worships the beast and his image and receives a mark on his forehead or on his hand, 10 he will also drink some of the wine of God's wrath, the wine that has been poured undiluted into the cup of his anger. The person who drinks it will be tormented with fire and sulfur before God's holy angels and before the Lamb.

11 A fumaça do seu tormento sobe para todo o sempre; e não têm descanso, nem de dia e nem de noite, os que adoram a besta e a sua imagem, e todos os que recebem a marca do seu nome. 12 Aqui está a perseverança dos santos, daqueles que obedecem os mandamentos de Deus e a fé em Jesus".

11 The smoke from their torment goes up forever and ever, and they have no rest day or night—these worshipers of the beast and his image, and everyone who receives the mark of his name. 12 Here is a call for the patient endurance of God's holy people, those who keep the commandments of God and their faith in Jesus."

13 Eu ouvi a voz do céu dizer: "Escreve: 'Abençoados são os que morrem no Senhor". "Sim", diz o Espírito: "que eles descansem dos seus trabalhos, pois as suas obras os seguirão".

13 I heard a voice from heaven say, "Write this: Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord." "Yes," says the Spirit, "so that they may rest from their labors, for their deeds will follow them."

14 Olhei, e havia uma nuvem branca e, assentado sobre a nuvem, um semelhante a filho de homem. Ele tinha uma coroa de ouro em sua cabeça e uma foice afiada em sua mão. 15 Então outro anjo saiu do templo clamando em alta voz ao que estava assentado sobre a nuvem: "Pega a tua foice e começa a colheita, pois o seu tempo chegou, a safra da terra está madura para a ceifa". 16 Então aquele que estava sentado nas nuvens passou sua foice pela terra, e a terra foi ceifada.

14 I looked, and there was a white cloud. Seated on the cloud was one like a son of man. He had a golden crown on his head and a sharp sickle in his hand. 15 Then another angel came out of the temple and called with a loud voice to the one sitting on the cloud: "Take your sickle and start to reap. For the time to reap has come, since the harvest of the earth is ripe." 16 Then the one who was sitting on the cloud swung his sickle over the earth, and the earth was harvested.

17 Outro anjo saiu do templo no céu, trazendo também uma foice afiada. 18 E saiu do altar outro anjo que tem autoridade sobre o fogo, e clamando em alta voz ao que tinha uma foice afiada: "Pega a sua foice afiada e colhe os cachos da vinha da terra, pois as suas uvas estão maduras".

17 Another angel came out from the temple in heaven; he also had a sharp sickle. 18 Still another angel came out from the incense altar, who had authority over the fire. He called out with a loud voice to the one who had the sharp sickle, "Take your sharp sickle and gather in the clusters of grapes from the vines of the earth, for their grapes are now ripe."

19 E o anjo passou a foice pela terra e colheu as uvas da ceifa e lançou-as no grande lagar da ira de Deus. 20 O lagar foi pisado fora da cidade e dele saiu sangue até à altura dos freios dos cavalos, numa extensão de mil e seissentos estádios.

19 The angel swung his sickle to the earth and harvested the grapevine of the earth. He threw it into the great winepress of God's wrath. 20 The winepress was stomped outside the city, and blood poured out from it up to the height of a horse's bridle, for 1,600 stadia.
