1 Depois destas coisas, ouvi no céu como uma forte voz de uma grande multidão, dizendo: "Louvai a Yahweh! Salvação, glória e poder pertencem ao nosso Deus. 2 Seus julgamentos são verdadeiros e justos, pois julgou a grande prostituta que corrompeu a terra com a sua imoralidade sexual. Ele tomou vingança pelo sangue dos seus servos, o qual ela mesma derramou".

1 After these things I heard what sounded like a loud voice of a large number of people in heaven calling out, "Praise Yahweh. Salvation, glory, and power belong to our God.2 2 His judgments are true and just, for he has judged the great prostitute2 who corrupted the earth with her sexual immorality. He has avenged the blood of his servants2 from her hand."\m

3 Pela segunda vez, disseram: "Louvai a Yahweh! A fumaça dela sobe para sempre e sempre". 4 Os vinte e quatro anciãos e os quatro seres viventes se prostraram e adoraram a Deus, que estava sentado no trono, dizendo: "Amém. Louvai a Yahweh"!

3 They spoke a second time: "Praise Yahweh! The smoke rises from her forever and ever."\m 4 The twenty-four elders and the four living creatures fell down and worshiped God, who was seated on the throne. They were saying, "Amen. Praise Yahweh!"

5 Então saiu uma voz do trono, dizendo: "Louvai ao nosso Deus todos os seus servos, vós que O temeis, tanto pequenos como grandes".

5 Then a voice came out from the throne, saying, "Praise our God,2 all you his servants, you who fear him,2 both the unimportant and the powerful."

6 Então ouvi uma voz como de uma grande e numerosa multidão, como o rugido de muitas águas e como a voz de fortes trovões, dizendo: "Louvai a Yahweh! Porque o Senhor, o Deus Todo-Poderoso, reina.

6 Then I heard what sounded like the voice of a great number of people, like the roar of many waters, and like loud crashes of thunder, saying, "Praise Yahweh! For the Lord reigns, our God, the Almighty.

7 Alegremo-nos, exultemos e demos-lhe a glória, porque são chegadas as bodas do Cordeiro, e sua noiva já se preparou". 8 Foi permitido que ela vestisse de linho fino, puro e resplandecente" (o linho fino são os atos justos dos santos.)

7 Let us rejoice and be glad2 and give him the glory! For the wedding celebration of the Lamb has come,2 and his bride has made herself ready. 8 She was permitted to be dressed2 in bright and clean fine linen" (for fine linen is the righteous acts of God's holy people).

9 O anjo me disse: "Escreva isto: Bem aventurados aqueles que são convidados para as bodas do Cordeiro". E também disse: "São estas as verdadeiras palavras de Deus". 10 Prostrei-me ante os seus pés para adorá-lo, porém ele me disse: "Não faças isso! Eu sou um servo com você e seus irmãos que mantêm o testemunho de Jesus. Adora a Deus, pois o testemunho de Jesus é o espírito da profecia".

9 The angel said to me, "Write this: Blessed are those who are invited to the wedding feast of the Lamb." He also said to me, "These are true words of God." 10 I fell down at his feet to worship him, but he said to me, "Do not do this! I am a fellow servant with you and your brothers who hold the testimony about Jesus. Worship God, for the testimony about Jesus is the spirit of prophecy."

11 Então vi o céu aberto e olhei, e havia um cavalo branco cujo cavaleiro é chamado de Fiel e Verdadeiro. Ele julga e guerreia com justiça. 12 Seus olhos são como chamas de fogo e, na sua cabeça, há muitos diademas e um nome escrito que ninguém conhece a não ser Ele mesmo. 13 Ele está vestido com um manto tingido de sangue, e seu nome se chama Palavra de Deus.

11 Then I saw heaven open, and I looked and there was a white horse. The one riding it is called faithful and true. It is with justice that he judges and wages war. 12 His eyes are like a fiery flame, and on his head are many crowns. He has a name written on him that no one knows but himself. 13 He wears a robe that was dipped in blood, and his name is called the Word of God.

14 Os exércitos do céu seguiam-no em cavalos brancos, vestidos em linho fino, branco e puro. 15 De sua boca sai uma espada afiada com a qual Ele fere as nações. Ele as governará com vara de ferro e pisará o lagar da fúria da ira do Deus Todo-Poderoso. 16 Ele tem um nome escrito no seu manto e na sua coxa: Rei dos reis e Senhor dos senhores.

14 The armies of heaven were following him on white horses, dressed in fine linen, white and clean. 15 Out of his mouth goes a sharp sword with which he strikes down the nations, and he will rule them with an iron rod. He tramples in the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God Almighty. 16 He has a name written on his robe and on his thigh: "King of kings and Lord of lords."

17 Vi um anjo em pé, no Sol, que clamava a todas as aves do céu em alta voz dizendo: "Venham, reúnam-se para a grande ceia de Deus. 18 Venham e comam a carne de reis, a carne de comandantes, a carne de homens poderosos, a carne de cavalos e seus cavaleiros e a carne de todos os homens, quer livres quer escravos, tanto pequenos como grandes".

17 I saw an angel standing in the sun. He called out in a loud voice to all the birds flying overhead, "Come, gather together for the great feast of God. 18 Come eat the flesh of kings, the flesh of commanders, the flesh of mighty men, the flesh of horses and their riders, and the flesh of all men, both free and slave, the unimportant and the powerful."

19 Vi a besta e os reis da terra com os seus exércitos. Eles estavam se preparando para guerrear contra Aquele que estava montado no cavalo e contra o seu exército. 20 A besta foi capturada e, com ela, o falso profeta que realizava os sinais na presença dela. Com esses sinais ele enganou os que receberam a marca da besta e os que adoravam sua imagem. Os dois foram jogados vivos no lago que arde com enxofre.

19 I saw the beast and the kings of the earth with their armies. They were assembling in order to wage war with the one who rode the horse and with his army. 20 The beast was captured and with him the false prophet who performed the signs in his presence. With these signs he deceived those who had received the mark of the beast and who worshiped his image. The two of them were thrown alive into the fiery lake of burning sulfur.

21 Os demais foram mortos pela espada que saía da boca Daquele que montava no cavalo. Todas as aves se fartaram com a carne de seus cadáveres.

21 The rest of them were killed by the sword that came out of the mouth of the one who rode on the horse. All the birds ate their dead flesh.
