1 Esta é a revelação de Jesus Cristo, a qual Deus Lhe deu para mostrar a Seus servos o que deve ocorrer em breve. Ele a fez conhecida ao enviar Seu anjo a Seu servo João. 2 João testificou de tudo o que viu sobre a palavra de Deus e o testemunho dado sobre Jesus Cristo. 3 Bem-aventurado é aquele que lê e aqueles que ouvem as palavras desta profecia e obedecem ao que está escrito nelas, porque o tempo está próximo.

1 This is the revelation of Jesus Christ that God gave him to show his servants what must soon take place. He made it known by sending his angel to his servant John. 2 John testified about the word of God and the testimony of Jesus Christ, all the things that he saw. 3 Blessed is the one who reads aloud this prophecy and those who listen to the words of this prophecy and who obey what is written in it, because the time is near.

4 João, às sete igrejas na Ásia: Que a graça seja convosco e a paz Daquele que é, e que era, e que há de vir, e dos sete Espíritos que estão diante do Seu trono, 5 e de Jesus Cristo, que é a Testemunha Fiel, o Primogênito dentre os mortos, e o Soberano dos reis da terra. Àquele que nos ama e nos libertou de nossos pecados por Seu sangue, 6 e fez de nós um reino, sacerdotes para Seu Deus e Pai, a Ele seja a glória e o poder para sempre e sempre. Amém.

4 John, to the seven churches in Asia: May grace be to you and peace from the one who is, and who was, and who is to come, and from the seven spirits who are before his throne, 5 and from Jesus Christ, who is the faithful witness, the firstborn from the dead, and the ruler of the kings of the earth. To the one who loves us and has freed us from our sins by his blood— 6 he has made us a kingdom, priests for his God and Father—to him be the glory and the power forever and ever. Amen.

7 Eis que Ele está vindo com as nuvens e todo olho O verá, incluindo aqueles que O traspassaram. E todas as tribos da Terra se lamentarão sobre Ele. Sim, amém. 8 "Eu sou o Alfa e o Ômega", diz o Senhor Deus, "Aquele que é, e que era, e que há de vir, o Todo-Poderoso". 7 Look, he is coming with the clouds;2 every eye will see him, including those who pierced him.2 All the tribes of the earth will mourn because of him.\m Yes, Amen. 8 "I am the Alpha and the Omega," says the Lord God, "the one who is, and who was, and who is to come, the Almighty." [[ Some important and ancient Greek copies read, " I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end, says the Lord God " . ]]

9 Eu, João, vosso irmão, aquele que compartilha convosco nos sofrimentos e no reino, paciente na perseverança em Jesus, estava na ilha chamada Patmos, por causa da palavra de Deus e do testemunho de Jesus. 10 Eu estava no Espírito, no dia do Senhor. Atrás de mim, eu ouvi uma grande voz como uma trombeta 11 que dizia: "Escreve em um livro o que vês, e envia-o às sete igrejas: Éfeso, Esmirna, Pérgamo, Tiatira, Sardes, Filadélfia e Laodiceia".

9 I, John—your brother and the one who shares with you in the suffering and kingdom and patient endurance that are in Jesus—was on the island called Patmos because of the word of God and the testimony about Jesus. 10 I was in the Spirit on the Lord's day. I heard behind me a loud voice like a trumpet. 11 It said, "Write what you see in a book, and send it to the seven churches—to Ephesus, to Smyrna, to Pergamum, to Thyatira, to Sardis, to Philadelphia, and to Laodicea."

12 Virei-me para ver de quem era a voz que estava falando comigo e, quando me virei, vi sete candeeiros de ouro. 13 No meio dos candeeiros, havia um como o Filho do Homem que vestia um longo manto, que Lhe chegava aos pés, e um cinto de ouro ao redor de Seu peito.

12 I turned around to see whose voice was speaking to me, and as I turned I saw seven golden lampstands. 13 In the middle of the lampstands there was one like a son of man, wearing a long robe that reached down to his feet and a golden sash around his chest.

14 Sua cabeça e cabelo eram brancos como a lã e tão brancos como a neve; e Seus olhos, como chamas de fogo. 15 Seus pés, como de bronze polido, bronze esse que foi refinado na fornalha; e Sua voz, como o som de muitas águas. 16 Na Sua mão direita, Ele tinha sete estrelas e, saindo de Sua boca, havia uma espada afiada de dois gumes. Sua face era brilhante como o Sol no seu mais forte brilho.

14 His head and hair were as white as wool—as white as snow—and his eyes were like a flame of fire. 15 His feet were like polished bronze, like bronze that had been refined in a furnace, and his voice was like the sound of many rushing waters. 16 He had seven stars in his right hand, and a sword with two sharp edges was coming out of his mouth. His face was shining like the sun at its strongest.

17 Quando O vi, caí aos Seus pés como um homem morto. Ele colocou Sua mão direita sobre mim e disse: "Não tenhas medo. Eu sou o Primeiro e o Último, 18 Aquele que vive. Estive morto, mas eis que Eu vivo para sempre! E tenho as chaves da morte e do Hades.

17 When I saw him, I fell at his feet like a dead man. He placed his right hand on me and said, "Do not be afraid. I am the first and the last 18 and the one who lives. I was dead, but look, I live forever and ever! And I have the keys of death and of Hades.

19 Portanto escreve o que tens visto, o que é agora, e o que acontecerá depois disso. 20 Quanto ao mistério sobre as sete estrelas que viste em Minha mão direita e os sete candeeiros de ouro, as sete estrelas são os anjos das sete igrejas, e os sete candeeiros são as sete igrejas.

19 Therefore write down what you have seen, what is now, and what will take place after this. 20 As for the hidden meaning about the seven stars you saw in my right hand, and the seven golden lampstands: The seven stars are the angels of the seven churches, and the seven lampstands are the seven churches."
