1 Levanta-te, resplandece! Porque chegou a tua luz e a glória de Yahweh nasce sobre ti.

1 Arise, shine; for your light has come, and the glory of Yahweh has risen on you.

2 Embora a escuridão cubra a terra e as densas trevas envolvam os povos, ainda assim, Yahweh resplandecerá sobre ti e a Sua glória será vista em ti. 3 As nações caminharão para a tua luz e os reis, para o resplendor da tua aurora.

2 Though darkness will cover the earth, and thick darkness the nations; yet Yahweh will arise upon you, and his glory will be seen on you. 3 Nations will come to your light, and kings to your bright light that is rising.

4 Olha ao redor e vê. Todos eles se reúnem e vêm a ti. Teus filhos virão de longe e tuas filhas serão carregadas nos braços. 5 Então, verás e ficarás radiante; o teu coração regozijará e transbordará de alegria, porque as riquezas do mar afluirão a ti e os tesouros das nações a ti virão.

4 Look all around and see. They all gather themselves together and come to you. Your sons will come from far, and your daughters will be carried in their arms. 5 Then you will look and be radiant, and your heart will rejoice and overflow, because the abundance of the sea will be poured out to you, the wealth of the nations will come to you.

6 Caravanas de camelos te inundarão, os camelinhos de Midiã e Efá. Todos virão de Sabá, trazendo ouro e incenso, e cantarão louvores a Yahweh. 7 Todos os rebanhos de Quedar serão trazidos para junto de ti, os carneiros de Nebaiote te servirão. Serão ofertas agradáveis sobre o Meu altar, e Eu cobrirei de glória a Minha casa.

6 Camel caravans will cover you, the dromedaries of Midian and Ephah; all of them will come from Sheba; they will bring gold and frankincense, and will sing the praises of Yahweh. 7 All the flocks of Kedar will be gathered together to you, the rams of Nebaioth will serve your needs; they will be acceptable offerings on my altar; and I will glorify my glorious house.

8 Quem são esses que voam como nuvens, como pombas aos seus pombais? 9 As terras costeiras esperam em Mim; os navios de Társis vêm à frente para trazer os teus filhos de longe e, com eles, sua prata e seu ouro, para o nome de Yahweh, teu Deus, para o Santo de Israel, porque Ele te glorificou.

8 Who are these who fly along like a cloud, and like the doves to their shelters? 9 The coastlands look for me, and the ships of Tarshish lead, to bring your sons from far, their silver and their gold with them, for the name of Yahweh your God, and for the Holy One of Israel, because he has honored you.

10 Filhos de estrangeiros reconstruirão os teus muros, e os seus reis te servirão; pois, se te castiguei em Minha ira, agora, na Minha graça, Eu terei misericórdia de ti. 11 Tuas portas permanecerão abertas continuamente; nem de dia nem de noite serão fechadas, para que a riqueza das nações seja trazida a ti, sendo conduzida por seus reis.

10 Sons of foreigners will rebuild your walls, and their kings will serve you; though in my wrath I punished you, yet in my favor I will have compassion on you. 11 Your gates also will remain open continually; they will not be shut day or night, so that the wealth of the nations may be brought, with their kings being led.

12 De fato, as nações e os reinos que não te servirem perecerão; essas nações serão totalmente destruídas. 13 A glória do Líbano virá a ti; o cipreste, o pinheiro e o abeto virão juntos para enfeitar o Meu santuário; e farei glorioso o lugar onde pisam Meus pés.

12 Indeed, nations and kingdoms that will not serve you will perish; those nations will be completely destroyed. 13 The glory of Lebanon will come to you, the cypress tree, the fir, and the cypress box tree together, to beautify my sanctuary; and I will glorify the place of my feet.

14 Os filhos daqueles que te oprimiram virão e se curvarão diante de ti; todos os que te desprezavam se curvarão aos teus pés; eles te chamarão de Cidade de Yahweh, a Sião do Santo de Israel.

14 They will come to you to bow down, the sons of those who humbled you; they will bow at your feet; they will call you The City of Yahweh, Zion of the Holy One of Israel.

15 Ao invés de permanecer abandonada e odiada, sem ninguém passando por ti, Eu te farei eterno motivo de orgulho e alegria, de geração em geração. 16 Tu beberás o leite das nações e te alimentarás do peito dos reis. Tu saberás que Eu, Yahweh, Sou teu Salvador e teu Redentor, o Poderoso de Jacó.

15 Instead of you remaining abandoned and hated, with no one passing through you, I will make you a thing of pride forever, a joy from generation to generation. 16 You will also drink the milk of the nations, and will nurse at the breast of kings; you will know that I, Yahweh, am your Savior and your Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob.

17 Em vez de bronze, trarei ouro, em vez de ferro, trarei prata; em vez de madeira, bronze e, em vez de pedras, ferro; farei pacíficos os teus oficiais e justos os teus governantes. 18 Não mais se ouvirá sobre a violência em tua terra, nem sobre devastação ou destruição dentro de tuas fronteiras; mas aos teus muros chamarás Salvação, e às tuas portas, Louvor.

17 Instead of bronze I will bring gold, instead of iron I will bring silver; instead of wood, bronze, and instead of stones, iron. I will appoint peace as your governors, and justice your rulers. 18 Violence will no longer be heard in your land, or devastation nor shattering within your borders; but you will call your walls Salvation, and your gates Praise.

19 O sol não mais te servirá para luz durante o dia, nem o brilho da lua te iluminará à noite, mas Yahweh será a tua luz perpétua, o teu Deus será a tua glória. 20 Teu sol não mais voltará a se pôr, nem a tua lua se retirará e desaparecerá, porque Yahweh será a tua luz para sempre, e os teus dias de luto cessarão.

19 The sun will no longer be your light by day, nor will the brightness of the moon shine on you; but Yahweh will be your everlasting light, and your God your glory. 20 Your sun will no longer set, nor will your moon withdraw and disappear; for Yahweh will be your everlasting light, and the days of your mourning will be ended.

21 Todo o teu povo será justo; eles tomarão a posse da terra para sempre; serão o ramo da Minha plantação, obras das Minhas mãos, para que Eu seja glorificado. 22 O menor virá a ser mil, e o mínimo, uma nação forte. Eu, Yahweh, farei estas coisas quando chegar a hora.

21 All your people will be righteous; they will take possession of the land for all time, the branch of my planting, the work of my hands, that I may be glorified. 22 The least of you will become a thousand, and the smallest one a mighty nation; I, Yahweh, will swiftly accomplish these things when the time comes.
