1 Isto é o que Yahweh disse a Ciro, Seu ungido, cuja mão direita Eu seguro, a fim de subjugar as nações diante dele, uma após outra, desarmar os reis e abrir portas diante dele, de modo que portões permanecerão abertos:

1 This is what Yahweh says to his anointed, to Cyrus, whose right hand I hold, in order to subdue nations before him, to disarm kings, and to open the doors before him, so that gates remain open:

2 "Eu irei adiante de vós e nivelarei as montanhas; Eu quebrarei em pedaços as portas de bronze e despedaçarei as trancas de ferro, 3 e darei a ti o tesouro das trevas e as riquezas escondidas no caminho; e saberás que sou Eu, Yahweh, quem te chamou pelo nome. Eu, o Deus de Israel.

2 "I will go before you and level the mountains; I will break in pieces the doors of bronze and cut in pieces their iron bars, 3 and I will give you the treasures of darkness and riches hidden away, that you may know that it is I, Yahweh, who call you by your name, I, the God of Israel.

4 Por amor de Jacó, Meu servo, de Israel, Meu escolhido, te chamei pelo nome: dei a ti um título de honra, embora não Me conheças. 5 Eu sou Yahweh, e não há outro; não há outro Deus além de Mim. Eu te prepararei para a batalha, mesmo que tu não Me conheças; 6 para que o povo saiba que, do nascer do sol até o poente, não há outro Deus além de Mim. Eu sou Yahweh, e não há outro.

4 For Jacob my servant's sake, and Israel my chosen, I have called you by your name, giving you a title of honor, though you have not known me. 5 I am Yahweh, and there is no other; there is no God but me. I will arm you for battle, though you have not known me; 6 that people may know from the rising of the sun, and from the west, that there is no god but me: I am Yahweh, and there is no other.

7 Eu formo a luz e crio as trevas; Eu faço a paz e crio a calamidade; Eu sou Yahweh, que faço todas essas coisas. 8 Derramai, ó céus, chuvas do alto; derrama do céu a justiça. Deixa que a terra a absorva e produza a salvação, e, junto com ela, brote a retidão. Eu, Yahweh, as criei.

7 I form the light and create darkness; I bring peace and create disaster; I am Yahweh, who does all these things. 8 You heavens, rain down from above! Let the skies rain down righteousness. Let the earth absorb it, that salvation may sprout up, and righteousness spring up together with it. I, Yahweh, have created them both.

9 Ai de quem discutir com Aquele que o formou! Para Ele, não passa de vaso de barro entre outros vasos de barro no chão! Poderia o barro dizer ao oleiro: 'O que tu fazes?' ou: 'O que estás fazendo?', 'Teu trabalho não teve mãos quando foi feito?'.

9 Woe to anyone who argues with the one who formed him, to him who is like any other earthen pot among all the earthen pots in the ground! Does the clay say to the potter, 'What are you making?' or 'Your work has no handles on it'?

10 Ai daquele que diz para um pai: 'O que geras?' ou para uma mulher: 'O que dás à luz?'.

10 Woe to him who says to a father, 'What are you fathering?' or to a woman, 'What are you giving birth to?'

11 Isto é o que Yahweh diz, o Único Santo de Israel, seu Criador: 'Por que tu perguntas o que farei sobre Meus filhos? Falarás para Mim sobre o que farei com o trabalho das Minhas mãos?

11 This is what Yahweh says, the Holy One of Israel, his Maker: 'Why do you ask questions about what I will do for my children? Do you tell me what to do concerning the work of my hands?'

12 Eu fiz a terra e nela criei o homem. Foram as Minhas mãos que estenderam para fora os céus e Eu dei ordem para as estrelas brilharem.

12 'I made the earth and created man on it. It was my hands that stretched out the heavens, and I commanded all the stars to appear.

13 Eu levantei Ciro na Minha justiça e Eu endireitarei todos os seus caminhos. Ele edificará a Minha cidade; ele deixará os exilados do Meu povo irem para casa, não por preço nem por suborno'", diz Yahweh dos Exércitos.

13 I stirred Cyrus up in righteousness, and I will smooth out all his paths. He will build my city; he will let my exiled people go home, and not for price nor bribe,'" says Yahweh of hosts.

14 Isto é o que Yahweh diz: "Os ganhos do Egito e as mercadorias da Etiópia, com os sabeus, homens de grande estatura, serão trazidos a ti. Eles serão teus. Eles te seguirão, chegando acorrentados. Eles se curvarão a ti e suplicarão, dizendo: 'Certamente, Deus é contigo e não há outro além Dele'". 15 Verdadeiramente, Tu és o Deus que Te escondes, o Deus de Israel, o Salvador.

14 This is what Yahweh says, "The earnings of Egypt and the merchandise of Cush with the Sabeans, men of tall stature, will be brought to you. They will be yours. They will follow after you, coming in chains. They will bow down to you and plead with you saying, 'Surely God is with you, and there is no other except him.'" 15 Truly you are a God who hides yourself, God of Israel, Savior.

16 Eles serão envergonhados e desonrados juntos; estes que esculpem ídolos caminharão em humilhação. 17 Mas Israel será salvo por Yahweh, com salvação eterna; tu nunca mais serás envergonhado ou humilhado.

16 They will all be ashamed and disgraced together; those who carve idols will walk in humiliation. 17 But Israel will be saved by Yahweh with an everlasting salvation; you will never again be ashamed or humiliated.

18 Porquanto, assim diz Yahweh, que criou os céus, o verdadeiro Deus que criou a terra, que a criou e a estabeleceu; Ele a criou, não como um desperdício, mas a projetou para ser habitada: "Eu sou Yahweh, e não há outro.

18 This is what Yahweh says, who created the heavens, the true God who created the earth and made it, who established it. He created it, not as a waste, but designed it to be inhabited: "I am Yahweh, and there is no other.

19 Eu não falei em algum lugar particular ou oculto; Eu não falei para os descendentes de Jacó: 'Busquem-Me em vão'. Eu sou Yahweh, que falo com sinceridade; Eu declaro as coisas que estão certas.

19 I have not spoken in private, in some hidden place; I did not say to Jacob's descendants, 'Seek me in vain!' I am Yahweh, who speaks sincerely; I declare the things that are right.

20 Congregai-vos e vinde! Reuni-vos todos vós, refugiados entre as nações! Não têm conhecimento os que carregam imagens de escultura e oram para deuses que não podem salvar.

20 Assemble yourselves and come! Gather together, you refugees from among the nations! They have no knowledge, those who carry carved images and pray to gods that cannot save.

21 Aproximai-vos e declarai isso para Mim; apresentai a evidência! Deixai que conspirem juntos. Quem mostrou essas coisas há muito tempo atrás? Quem as anunciou? Não fui Eu, Yahweh? Não existe Deus além de Mim, um Deus justo e Salvador; não há outro além de Mim.

21 Come close and declare it to me, bring the evidence! Let them conspire together. Who has shown this from long ago? Who announced it? Was it not I, Yahweh? There is no God except me, a just God and a Savior; there is no one besides me.

22 Voltai-vos para Mim e sereis salvos, vós, de todos os confins da terra; pois Eu sou Deus, e não há outro. 23 Juro por Mim mesmo, declaro Meus justos decretos e não voltarei atrás: 'todo joelho se dobrará, toda língua jurará.

22 Turn to me and be saved, all the ends of the earth; for I am God, and there is no other. 23 By myself I swear, speaking my just decree, and it will not turn back: 'To me every knee will bend, every tongue will swear.

24 Dirão a Mim: 'Só em Yahweh há salvação e força'". Todos os que com Ele estão zangados O servirão, envergonhados. 25 Em Yahweh, toda a descendência de Israel será justificada; Nele, eles se gloriarão.

24 They will say of me, "In Yahweh alone are salvation and strength."'" They will all be ashamed who are angry at him. 25 In Yahweh all the descendants of Israel will be justified; they will take pride in him.
