1 E Deus abençoou Noé e seus filhos, e disse-lhes: "Frutificai, multiplicai-vos e enchei a terra. 2 O pavor e o medo de vós estarão sobre todo animal vivente da terra, sobre toda ave do céu, sobre tudo o que rasteja pelo chão e sobre todos os peixes do mar. Todos foram entregues na vossa mão.

1 Then God blessed Noah and his sons, and said to them, "Be fruitful, multiply, and fill the earth. 2 The fear of you and the dread of you will be upon every living animal on the earth, upon every bird of the sky, upon everything that goes low on the ground, and upon all the fish of the sea. They are given into your hand.

3 Tudo quanto se move e vive vos servirá de alimento. Assim como vos dei os vegetais, agora vos dou todas as coisas. 4 Contudo não comereis carne com a vida nela, ou seja, com o sangue dentro dela.

3 Every moving thing that lives will be food for you. Just as I gave you the green plants, I now give you everything. 4 But you must not eat meat with its life—that is its blood—in it.

5 Certamente, Eu requererei o vosso sangue, o sangue da vossa vida; Eu o requererei de cada animal. Também da mão de cada homem que assassinou seu irmão, Eu requererei pela vida do homem. 6 Qualquer que derrame sangue de um homem terá seu sangue derramado pelo homem, porque Deus fez o homem à Sua imagem. 7 Quanto a vós, sede fecundos e multiplicai-vos; povoai a terra e multiplicai-vos nela".

5 But for your blood, the life that is in your blood, I will require payment. From the hand of every animal I will require it. From the hand of any man, that is, from the hand of one who has murdered his brother, I will require an accounting for the life of that man. 6 Whoever sheds man's blood, by man will his blood be shed, for it was in the image of God that he made man.\m 7 As for you, be fruitful and multiply, spread throughout the earth and multiply on it."

8 Então Deus falou com Noé e seus filhos, dizendo: 9 "Eis que Eu estabelecerei a minha aliança convosco, com a vossa descendência depois de vós 10 e com cada ser vivente que esteja convosco: tanto as aves, os animais domésticos e os animais selvagens que saíram da arca, como todo ser vivente da terra.

8 Then God spoke to Noah and to his sons with him, saying, 9 "As for me, listen! I am going to confirm my covenant with you and with your descendants after you, 10 and with every living creature that is with you, with the birds, the livestock, and every creature of the earth with you, from all that came out of the ark, to every living creature on the earth.

11 Estabelecerei minha aliança convosco, que nunca mais será destruída toda carne por águas de dilúvio. Nunca mais haverá dilúvio para destruir a terra". 12 Deus disse: "Este é o sinal da Minha aliança que faço entre Mim e vós e todos os seres viventes que estão convosco, para as futuras gerações . 13 Eu coloquei o Meu arco nas nuvens, e este será o sinal da aliança entre Mim e a terra.

11 I hereby confirm my covenant with you, that never again will all flesh be destroyed by the waters of a flood. Never again will there be a flood to destroy the earth." 12 God said, "This is the sign of the covenant which I am making between me and you and every living creature that is with you, for all future generations: 13 I have set my rainbow in the cloud, and it will be the sign of the covenant between me and the earth.

14 E acontecerá que, quando Eu trouxer nuvens sobre a terra e nelas aparecer o arco, 15 recordarei da Minha aliança firmada entre Mim e vós e todos os seres viventes de toda carne. E não haverá mais as águas de dilúvio para destruir toda carne.

14 It will come about when I bring a cloud over the earth and the rainbow is seen in the cloud, 15 then I will call to mind my covenant, which is between me and you and every living creature of all flesh. The waters will never again become a flood to destroy all flesh.

16 O arco estará nas nuvens e Eu o verei, e Me lembrarei da aliança entre Deus e todos os seres viventes de toda carne que há sobre a terra". 17 Depois Deus disse a Noé: "Este é o símbolo da aliança que Eu estabeleci, entre Eu e todas as criaturas na terra".

16 The rainbow will be in the clouds and I will see it, in order to remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of all flesh that is on the earth." 17 Then God said to Noah, "This is the sign of the covenant that I have confirmed between me and all flesh that is on the earth."

18 Os filhos de Noé que saíram da arca eram Sem, Cam e Jafé. Cam era o pai de Canaã. 19 São eles os três filhos de Noé e deles toda a terra foi povoada.

18 The sons of Noah that came out of the ark were Shem, Ham, and Japheth. Ham was the father of Canaan. 19 These three were the sons of Noah, and from these the whole earth was populated.

20 Nóe começou a cultivar a terra e plantou uma vinha. 21 Bebeu vinho e embriagou-se. Ele ficou nu em sua tenda.

20 Noah began to be a farmer, and he planted a vineyard. 21 He drank some of the wine and became drunk. He was lying uncovered in his tent.

22 Cam, o pai de Canaã, viu a nudez de seu pai e saiu para contar aos seus dois irmãos. 23 Então Sem e Jafé pegaram uma capa e colocaram-na sobre os próprios ombros e, andando de costas, cobriram a nudez de seu pai. Seus rostos estavam voltados para trás, para que não vissem a nudez de seu pai.

22 Then Ham, the father of Canaan, saw the nakedness of his father and told his two brothers outside. 23 So Shem and Japheth took a robe and laid it upon both their shoulders, and walked backwards and covered the nakedness of their father. Their faces were turned the other way, so they did not see their father's nakedness.

24 Quando Noé despertou de sua embriaguez, soube o que seu filho mais novo havia feito a ele. 25 Então disse: "Maldito seja Canaã. Ele será servo dos servos de seus irmãos".

24 When Noah awoke from his wine, he learned what his youngest son had done to him. 25 So he said, "Cursed be Canaan. May he be a servant to his brothers' servants."

26 E também disse: "Que Yahweh, o Deus de Sem, seja bendito, e Canaã seja seu servo. 27 Que Deus engrandeça Jafé, e habite ele nas tendas de Sem. E que Canaã seja seu servo".

26 He also said, "May Yahweh, the God of Shem, be blessed, and may Canaan be his servant. 27 May God extend the territory of Japheth, and let him make his home in the tents of Shem. May Canaan be his servant."

28 Depois do dilúvio, Noé viveu trezentos e cinquenta anos. 29 Todos os dias de Noé foram novecentos e cinquenta anos, depois ele morreu.

28 After the flood, Noah lived three hundred fifty years. 29 All the days of Noah were nine hundred fifty years, and then he died.
