1 Yahweh disse a Noé: "Vai para a arca, tu e toda a tua família, porque Eu vi que és justo diante de Mim nesta geração. 2 De cada animal puro trarás contigo sete machos e sete fêmeas; e dos animais que não são puros, um casal, o macho e sua fêmea. 3 Também das aves do céu trarás sete machos e sete fêmeas, para preservar a sua espécie sobre toda a face da terra.

1 Yahweh said to Noah, "Come, you and all your household, into the ark, for I have seen that you are righteous before me in this generation. 2 Of every clean animal you will bring with you seven males and seven females. From the animals that are not clean, of them bring two, the male and his mate. 3 Also of the birds of the sky, bring seven males and seven females, to preserve their offspring upon the surface of all the earth.

4 Porque, em sete dias, farei chover sobre toda a terra quarenta dias e quarenta noites. Destruirei da superfície da terra todas as coisas vivas que criei". 5 Noé fez tudo o que Yahweh havia ordenado.

4 For in seven days I will cause it to rain upon the earth for forty days and forty nights. I will destroy from off the surface of the ground every living thing that I have made." 5 Noah did all that Yahweh commanded him.

6 Noé tinha seiscentos anos quando o dilúvio veio sobre a terra. 7 Noé entrou na arca com seus filhos e sua mulher e as mulheres de seus filhos, por causa das águas do dilúvio.

6 Noah was six hundred years old when the flood came upon the earth. 7 Noah, his sons, his wife, and his sons' wives went into the ark together because of the waters of the flood.

8 Os animais puros e os impuros, as aves, e tudo que rasteja sobre a terra, 9 de dois em dois, macho e fêmea, foram a Noé e entraram na arca, como Deus havia ordenado a Noé. 10 Sucedeu que, depois de sete dias, as águas inundaram a superfície da terra.

8 Clean animals and unclean animals, birds, and everything that creeps upon the ground, 9 two by two, male and female, came to Noah and went into the ark, just as God had commanded Noah. 10 It came about that after the seven days, the waters of the flood came upon the earth.

11 Quando Noé tinha seiscentos anos, aos dezessete dias do segundo mês, romperam-se todas as fontes do grande abismo, e as comportas do céu se abriram. 12 A chuva começou a cair e encheu a terra por quarenta dias e quarenta noites.

11 In the six hundredth year of Noah's life, in the second month, on the seventeenth day of the month, on the same day, all the fountains of the great deep burst open, and the windows of heaven were opened. 12 The rain began and fell on the earth for forty days and forty nights.

13 Nesse mesmo dia, entrou na arca Noé e seus filhos Sem, Cam e Jafé, a esposa de Noé e as três mulheres de seus filhos. 14 E com eles todo animal selvagem, segundo a sua espécie, todo animal doméstico, segundo a sua espécie, todo animal que rasteja sobre a terra, toda ave, conforme a sua espécie, toda criatura que tem asa.

13 On that very same day Noah and his sons, Shem, Ham, and Japheth, and Noah's wife, and the three wives of his sons with them, entered into the ark. 14 They entered along with each wild animal according to its kind, and each sort of livestock according to its kind, and each creeping thing that creeps upon the earth according to its kind, and every sort of bird according to its kind, each kind of creature with wings.

15 Dois de cada carne que tem o sopro de vida vieram para Noé e entraram na arca. 16 Os animais que entraram eram macho e fêmea; e entraram como Deus havia ordenado. Então Yahweh fechou a porta.

15 Two of all flesh in which was the breath of life came to Noah and entered into the ark. 16 The animals that went in were male and female of all flesh; they entered in just as God had commanded him. Then Yahweh shut the door after them.

17 E veio o dilúvio sobre a terra, por quarenta dias, e as águas aumentaram e levantaram a arca da terra. 18 As águas cobriram completamente a terra, e a arca flutuou sobre a superfície das águas.

17 Then the flood came upon the earth for forty days, and the water increased and lifted the ark and raised it above the earth. 18 The waters completely covered over the earth, and the ark floated upon the surface of the water.

19 As águas se avolumaram mais e mais sobre a terra e cobriram completamente até as montanhas mais altas que havia debaixo do céu. 20 As águas sobressaíram quinze côvados acima do topo das montanhas.

19 The waters rose greatly on the earth so that all the high mountains that were under the entire sky were covered. 20 The waters rose fifteen cubits above the tops of the mountains.

21 Todos os seres vivos que se moviam sobre a terra morreram: os pássaros, os animais domésticos, os animais selvagens, tudo que rasteja sobre a terra, e toda a humanidade. 22 Todos os seres cujas narinas respiravam o sopro de vida e todos em terra seca morreram.

21 All living beings that moved upon the earth died—birds, livestock, wild animals, all the living creatures that lived in great numbers upon the earth, and all mankind. 22 All living creatures who lived on the land, who breathed the breath of life through their noses, died.

23 Então todos os seres vivos sobre a superfície da terra foram extintos, desde os humanos até os animais maiores, os rastejantes e os pássaros no céu. Todos eles foram extintos da terra. E restaram somente Noé e aqueles que com ele estavam dentro da arca. 24 As águas prevaleceram sobre a terra por cento e cinquenta dias.

23 So every living thing that was on the surface of the earth was wiped out, mankind and animals and creeping things and birds of the sky. They were all destroyed from the earth. Only Noah and those with him in the ark were left. 24 The waters stayed upon the earth for 150 days.
