1 Então, o homem veio e me levou à porta que está aberta para o oriente. 2 Eis que, a glória do Deus de Israel vinha do oriente; Sua voz era como o som de muitas aguás, e a terra brilhava por causa da Sua glória.

1 The man then brought me to the gate that opened to the east. 2 Behold! The glory of the God of Israel came from the east; his voice was like the sound of many waters, and the earth shone with his glory.

3 E pareceu com a visão que tive, quando vi o homem que veio para destruir a cidade e as visões eram como a visão que tive no rio Quebar e caí com o rosto em terra. 4 E a glória de Yahweh veio ao templo pelo caminho da porta que abre para o oriente. 5 Então, o Espírito me levantou e me levou até o pátio interno. Eis que a glória de Yahweh encheu o templo.

3 It was according to the appearance of the vision that I saw, according to the vision that I saw when he had come [[ Instead of " when he had come " which some Hebrew copies and some ancient and many modern translations read, some other copies of the Hebrew text read: " when I came " . ]] to destroy the city, and the visions were like the vision that I saw at the Kebar Canal—and I fell to my face. 4 So the glory of Yahweh came to the house by way of the gate that opened to the east. 5 Then the Spirit lifted me up and brought me into the inner court. Behold! The glory of Yahweh was filling the house.

6 O homem estava parado ao meu lado e ouvi alguém falando comigo dentro do templo. 7 E me disse: ''Filho do homem, esta é a casa do Meu trono e da sola dos Meus pés, onde viverei no meio do Meu povo Israel para sempre. A casa de Israel não profanará mais o Meu nome, nem eles e nem seus reis, com suas infidelidades ou com os cadáveres dos seus reis nos seus lugares altos. 8 Não profanarão mais o Meu santo nome pondo o seu limiar perto do Meu limiar e seu umbral perto do Meu umbral, havendo apenas uma parede entre Eu e eles. 6 The man was standing beside me, and I heard someone else speaking to me from the house. 7 He said to me, "Son of man, this is the place of my throne and the place for the soles of my feet, where I will live in the midst of the people of Israel forever. The house of Israel will no longer profane my holy name—they or their kings—with their faithlessness or with the corpses of their kings at their high places. 8 They will no longer profane my holy name by putting their threshold next to my threshold, and their gateposts next to my gateposts, with nothing but a wall between me and them. They profaned my holy name with their disgusting actions, so I consumed them with my anger.

9 Now let them remove their faithlessness and the corpses of their kings from before me, and I will live in their midst forever.

10 Filho do homem, diz à casa de Israel acerca deste templo para que se envergonhem das suas iniquidades; eles deveriam pensar acerca deste relato. 11 Pois se eles estão envergonhados de tudo que fizeram, então, revela-lhes o desenho do templo, seus detalhes, suas saídas, suas entradas e todos seus decretos e suas leis. Escreve isto, diante de seus olhos, para que guardem todos os aspectos e todas as leis e as obedeçam.

10 Son of man, you yourself must tell the house of Israel about this house so they will be ashamed of their iniquities. They should think about this description. 11 For if they are ashamed of all that they have done, then reveal to them the design of the house, its details, its exits, its entrances, and all its designs, all its decrees and rules. Then write this down before their eyes so they will keep to all its design and all its rules, so as to obey them.

12 Esta é a lei do templo: Do pico do monte à sua borda ao redor, será santíssimo. Eis que esta é a lei do templo.

12 This is the regulation for the house: From the peak of the hill to all the surrounding border around it, it will be most holy. Behold! This is the regulation for the house.

13 Estas serão as medidas do altar em côvados, este será um côvado regular, a largura de um palmo de comprimento. E a parte inferior ao redor do altar será um côvado profundo e sua largura será também de um côvado. A borda em todo seu contorno será de um palmo; e esta será a base do altar. 14 Da parte inferior do nível elevado, para base mais baixa do altar são dois côvados e esta base é um côvado de largura. Então, da pequena base até a base larga do altar, são quatro côvados e a base larga é um côvado de largura.

13 These will be the measurements of the altar in cubits—that cubit being a regular cubit and a handbreadth in length. So the gutter around the altar will be a cubit deep, and its width will also be a cubit. The border around its surrounding edge will be one span. This will be the base of the altar. 14 From the gutter at the ground level up to the lower ledge of the altar is two cubits, and that ledge itself is one cubit in width. Then from the small ledge up to the large edge of the altar, it is four cubits, and the large edge is a cubit in width.

15 A lareira do altar para queimar ofertas será da altura de quatro côvados e haverá quatro chifres apontando para cima da lareira. 16 A lareira é de doze côvados de comprimento e doze côvados quadrados de largura. 17 Sua àrea é de catorze côvados de comprimento e catorze côvados de largura cada um dos quatro lados, e seu aro é a metade da largura. 15 The hearth on the altar for the burnt offerings is four cubits high, and there are four horns pointing upward on the hearth. 16 The hearth is twelve cubits in length and twelve cubits in width, a square. 17 Its border is fourteen cubits in length and fourteen cubits in width on each of its four sides, and its rim is a half cubit in width. The gutter is a cubit in width all around with its steps facing east."

18 Depois, ele me disse: "Filho do homem, assim diz Yahweh Deus: Estas são as instruções do altar no dia em que eles o fizerem, para oferecerem a oferta queimada em cima dele e para espalharem sangue sobre ele. 19 Darás um bezerro por oferta pelo pecado aos sacerdotes levitas que são da descendência de Zadoque, que se chegam a Mim para Me servirem — esta é a declaração de Yahweh Deus.

18 Next he said to me, "Son of man, the Lord Yahweh says this: These are the regulations for the altar on the day they make it, for raising the burnt offering onto it, and for sprinkling blood on it. 19 You will give a young bull from the herd as a sin offering for the Levitical priests who are the descendants of Zadok, those who come near to me to serve me—this is the Lord Yahweh's declaration.

20 Então, levarás do seu sangue e o porás nos quatro chifres do altar, nos quatro lados à sua margem e no contorno ao redor; o purificarás e farás a sua expiação. 21 Então, levarás o bezerro de oferta pelo pecado e queima no lugar indicado no templo, do lado de fora do santuário.

20 Then you will take some of its blood and place it on the altar's four horns and the four sides of its edge and on the surrounding rim; you will cleanse it and make atonement for it. 21 Then take the bull for the sin offering and burn it in the appointed part of the temple area outside of the sanctuary.

22 Então, no segundo dia, oferecerás um bode macho sem mancha, os bodes serão ofertas pelo pecado; os sacerdotes purificarão o altar como purificaram o bode. 23 Quando terminarem a purificação, oferecerão um gado sem defeito do rebanho, e um carneiro sem mancha do rebanho. 24 E os oferecerão perante Yahweh; os sacerdotes deitarão sal neles e os oferecerão como oferta queimada a Yahweh.

22 Then on the second day you will offer a male goat without blemish from the goats as a sin offering; the priests will cleanse the altar just as they cleansed it with the bull. 23 When you finish its cleansing, offer an unblemished bull from the herd and an unblemished ram from the flock. 24 Offer them before Yahweh; the priests will throw salt onto them and raise them up as a burnt offering to Yahweh.

25 Prepara um bode macho como oferta pelo pecado todos os dias, durante sete dias, e os sacerdotes também prepararão um bezerro e um carneiro do rebanho. 26 Eles expiarão o altar por sete dias e o purificarão e, deste modo, irão consagrá-lo. 27 Eles devem cumprir esses dias e, do oitavo dia em diante, os sacerdotes prepararão as vossas ofertas queimadas e as vossas ofertas pacíficas sobre o altar, e Eu vos aceitarei — esta é a declaração de Yahweh Deus".

25 You must prepare a male goat as a sin offering daily for seven days, and the priests must also prepare an unblemished bull from the herd and an unblemished ram from the flock. 26 They must atone for the altar for seven days and purify it, and in this way they must consecrate it. 27 They must complete these days, and on the eighth day and onward it will come about that the priests will prepare your burnt offerings and your peace offerings on the altar, and I will accept you—this is the Lord Yahweh's declaration."
