1 Novamente veio a palavra de Yahweh a mim, dizendo: 2 "Filho do homem, começa uma lamentação sobre Tiro, 3 e dize a Tiro, aquele que vive na entrada do mar, que negocia com povos de muitas ilhas, assim te diz Yahweh Deus: Tiro, tu dizes: 'Sou perfeita em formosura'.

1 Again the word of Yahweh came to me, saying, 2 "Now you, son of man, begin a lamentation concerning Tyre, 3 and say to Tyre, who lives within the gates of the sea, merchants of peoples to many islands, the Lord Yahweh says this to you: Tyre, you have said, 'I am perfect in beauty.'

4 Tuas fronteiras estão no coração dos mares; os que te construíram aperfeiçoaram a tua beleza. 5 Fizeram todas as tuas tábuas com cipreste do monte Hermon; buscaram cedro do Líbano para fazer um mastro para ti.

4 Your borders are in the heart of the seas; your builders have perfected your beauty. 5 They have made all your planks with cypress from Senir; they took a cedar from Lebanon to make a mast for you.

6 Os teus remos eram feitos com os carvalhos de Basã; os teus bancos de madeira de cipreste do Chipre, e eram cobertos com marfim. 7 Tuas velas eram de linho colorido vindas do Egito, que serviam como tua bandeira; de azul e púrpura das ilhas do Egito eram os teus toldos!

6 They made your oars from the oaks of Bashan; they made your decks out of cypress wood from Cyprus, and they overlaid them with ivory. 7 Your sails were made from colorful linen from Egypt that served as your banner; the colors of blue and purple from the coasts of Elishah are used for the awning on your boat.

8 Aqueles que vivem em Sidom e Arvade eram teus remadores; os peritos de Tiro, que estavam no meio de ti, eram teus pilotos. 9 Os artesãos experientes de Gebal eram os calafetadores de tuas fendas; e seus marinheiros no teu meio negociavam por ti.

8 Those who were living in Sidon and Arvad were your rowers; the sages of Tyre were within you; they were your pilots. 9 Highly experienced craftsmen from Byblos filled your seams; all the ships of the sea and their sailors among you were carrying your merchandise for trade.

10 Persas, lídios e os da Líbia eram parte de teu exército, teus homens de guerra. Eles penduraram seus escudos e capacetes junto com os teus, aumentando teu esplendor. 11 Os homens de Arvade e Heleque, no teu exército, estavam sobre os teus muros ao teu redor, e os gamaditas nas tuas torres. Eles penduravam seus escudos nos teus muros, à tua volta, completando a tua beleza.

10 Persia, Lydia, and Libya were in your army, your men of war. they hung shield and helmet within you; they showed your splendor. 11 The men of Arvad and Helek in your army were on your walls surrounding you, and the people of Gammad were in your towers. They hung up their shields on your walls all around you! They completed your beauty.

12 Társis era teu parceiro de comércio, por causa da tua abundante riqueza em mercadoria: prata, ferro, estanho e chumbo. Eles compravam e vendiam as tuas mercadorias! 13 Javã, Tubal e Meseque comercializavam escravos e artigos feitos de bronze. Eles negociavam tuas mercadorias.

12 Tarshish was a trading partner with you because of your abundant wealth of goods to sell: Silver, iron, tin, and lead. They bought and sold your wares! 13 Greece, [[ Some modern English translations read, " Javan " . ]] Tubal, and Meshech—they traded slaves and in items made of bronze. They handled your merchandise.

14 Togarma negociava cavalos, garanhões e mulas pelas tuas mercadorias. 15 Os homens de Rodes eram teus mercadores e muitas ilhas teus fregueses. Eles traziam, em retorno, chifres de marfim e ébano como tributo!

14 Beth Togarmah provided horses, stallions, and mules as your merchandise. 15 The men of Rhodes were your traders on many coasts. Merchandise was in your hand; they sent back horn, ivory, and ebony as tribute!

16 A Síria negociava muitos de teus produtos e eles trocavam por esmeraldas, púrpura, tecidos coloridos, panos finos, pérolas e rubis, como mercadoria. 17 Judá e a terra de Israel trocavam mercadorias contigo. Davam em troca: trigo de Minite, bolos, mel, óleo e bálsamo. 18 Damasco comercializava todos teus produtos, por causa de tua grande riqueza e davam em troca vinho de Helbom e lã do Zahar.

16 Aram was a dealer in your many products; they provided emeralds, purple, colored cloth, fine fabric, pearls, and rubies as your merchandise. 17 Judah and the land of Israel were trading with you. They provided wheat from Minnith, cakes, honey, oil, and balsam as your merchandise. 18 Damascus was a trader of all your products, of all your enormous wealth, and of the wine of Helbon and the wool of Zahar.

19 Dã e Javã de Uzal trocavam mercadorias de ferro trabalhado, canela e cálamo. 20 Dedã era teu negociador de cobertores de sela. 21 A Arábia e todos os chefes de Quedar eram mercadores contigo e negociavam cordeiros, carneiros e bodes.

19 Dan and Javan from Izal provided you with merchandise of wrought iron, cinnamon, and calamus. This became merchandise for you. 20 Dedan was your dealer in fine saddle blankets. 21 Arabia and all the chiefs of Kedar were traders with you; they provided you with lambs, rams and goats.

22 Os comerciantes de Sebá e Raamá vinham vender as melhores especiarias e todo tipo de jóias preciosas; negociavam ouro pelas tuas mercadorias. 23 Harã, Cané e Éden negociavam contigo, junto com Sebá, Assur e Quilmade.

22 The traders of Sheba and Raamah came to sell you the best of every spice and in all kinds of precious gems; they traded gold for your merchandise. 23 Haran, Kanneh, and Eden were traders with you, along with Sheba, Ashur, and Kilmad.

24 Estes eram teus mercadores em mantos finos, em tecidos violeta feitos à mão, cobertores coloridos, bordados e tapetes feitos de cordões trançados. 25 Os navios de Társis transportavam as mercadorias! Tu estavas cheia, com carga pesada no coração dos mares!

24 These were your dealers in ornate robes of violet cloths with woven colors, and in blankets of multicolored, embroidered, and well-woven cloth in your marketplaces. 25 The ships of Tarshish were the transporters of your merchandise! So you were filled up, heavily laden with cargo in the heart of the seas!

26 Os teus remadores te conduziram até grandes mares; e o vento oriental te quebrou no meio deles. 27 Tuas riquezas, mercadorias e teu comércio; teus marinheiros, pilotos e fazedores de navios; teus fregueses e todos os homens de guerra contigo; toda a tua equipe de navio — eles afundarão até as profundezas do mar, no dia da tua destruição.

26 Your rowers have brought you into vast seas; the eastern wind has broken you in the middle of them. 27 Your wealth, merchandise, and trade goods; your sailors and pilots, and ship builders; your traders of merchandise and all the men of war who are in you, and all your crew—they will sink into the depths of the sea on the day of your destruction.

28 As cidades dos mares tremerão ao som dos gritos de teus pilotos; 29 todos teus remadores descerão dos navios; marinheiros e todos os pilotos no mar ficarão em terra. 30 Então, eles te farão ouvir as suas vozes e irão prantear amargamente; lançarão o pó sobre as suas cabeças e se revolverão nas cinzas.

28 Cities at the sea will tremble at the sound of your pilots' cry; 29 All those who handle oars will come down from their ships; mariners and all the pilots on the sea will stand on the land. 30 Then they will make you listen to their voice and will wail bitterly; they will cast dust up on their heads. They will roll about in ashes.

31 Eles raparão suas cabeças por ti; eles se amarrarão com pano de saco, chorarão amargamente por ti e gritarão. 32 Eles se lamentarão por ti e cantarão seu luto, dizendo: quem é como Tiro, que foi reduzido ao silêncio no meio do mar? 33 Quando as tuas mercadorias chegavam nos portos, satisfaziam a muitos povos; pois enriquecia os reis da terra com tuas riquezas e mercadorias!

31 They will shave their heads bald for you and bind themselves with sackcloth, and they will weep bitterly over you and they will cry out. 32 They will lift up their wails of lamentation for you and sing dirges over you, Who is like Tyre, who has now been brought to silence in the middle of the sea? 33 When your merchandise went ashore from the sea, it satisfied many peoples; you enriched the kings of the earth with your great wealth and merchandise!

34 Mas, quando foste quebrantada pelos mares, pelas águas profundas, tua mercadoria e toda a tua equipe afundaram! 35 Todos os habitantes da costa ficaram chocados por tua causa e os reis estremeceram horrorizados! Seus rostos tremiam! 36 Os comerciantes dos povos zombam de ti; pois te tornaste um horror e deixarás de existir para sempre".

34 But when you were shattered by the seas, by deep waters, your merchandise and all your crew sank! 35 All the inhabitants of the coasts were appalled at you, and their kings shuddered in horror! Their faces trembled! 36 The merchants of the people hiss at you; you have become a horror, and you will be no more forever."
