1 Veio a mim a palavra de Yahweh, dizendo: 2 "Filho do homem, tu vives no meio da casa rebelde, que tem olhos para ver mas não vêem, e ouvidos para ouvir mas não ouvem, porque é casa rebelde.

1 The word of Yahweh came to me, saying, 2 "Son of man, you live in the midst of a rebellious house, where they have eyes to see but they do not see; and where they have ears to hear but do not listen, because they are a rebellious house.

3 Quanto a ti, filho do homem, prepara as tuas coisas para o exílio, e prepara para sair de dia, à vista deles, porque Eu te enviarei ao exílio à vista deles, do lugar que vives para um outro lugar. Talvez eles comecem a perceber, embora sejam casa rebelde.

3 Therefore as for you, son of man, prepare your things for exile, and begin going out by day in their sight, for I will exile you in their sight from your place to another place. Perhaps they will begin to see, though they are a rebellious house.

4 Tu tirarás tuas coisas para o exílio de dia à vista deles; sairás de tarde à vista deles, como alguém que vai para o exílio. 5 Faze um buraco na parede, à vista deles, e sai através dele. 6 Levarás os teus pertences em teus ombros, à vista deles; às escuras os transportarás. Cobre a tua face, para que não vejas a terra, porque Eu te coloquei como sinal para a casa de Israel".

4 You will bring out your things for an exile in the day in their sight; go out in the evening in their sight in the way that anyone goes into exile. 5 Dig a hole through the wall in their sight, and go out through it. 6 In their sight, lift up your things onto your shoulder, and bring them out in the darkness. Cover your face, for you must not see the land, since I have set you as a sign to the house of Israel."

7 E eu fiz como fui ordenado. Durante o dia eu tirei os meus pertences, como se fosse para o exílio, e de tarde fiz um buraco na parede com as mãos. Tirei meus pertences na escuridão, e levantei-os e coloquei nos ombros à vista deles.

7 So I did this, just as I was commanded. I brought out my things of exile in the daytime, and in the evening I dug a hole through the wall by hand. I brought my things out in the dark, and lifted them up on my shoulder in their sight.

8 Então, veio a mim a palavra de Yahweh pela manhã, dizendo: 9 "Filho do homem, não te perguntou a casa de Israel, esta casa rebelde: 'O que estás fazendo?' 10 Dize-lhes: 'Assim diz Yahweh Deus: Esta ação profética se refere aos príncipes em Jerusalém, e a toda casa de Israel que está no meio deles'.

8 Then the word of Yahweh came to me in the morning, saying, 9 "Son of man, is the house of Israel, that rebellious house, not asking, 'What are you doing?' 10 Say to them, 'The Lord Yahweh says this: this prophetic action concerns the prince in Jerusalem, and all the house of Israel in whose midst they are.'

11 Dize: 'Eu sou um sinal para vós. Assim como fiz, será feito a eles; eles irão para o exílio e para o cativeiro. 12 O príncipe que está no meio deles levantará seus pertences nos ombros, na escuridão, e sairá pela parede. Eles escavarão a parede e tirarão as suas coisas. Ele cobrirá a sua face, e não verá a terra com seus olhos. 13 Também estenderei a minha rede sobre ele e será apanhado em minha armadilha; e então, o levarei para Babilônia, a terra dos Caldeus, mas ele não a verá, ele morrerá ali.

11 Say, 'I am a sign to you.' As I have done, so it will be done to them; they will go into exile and into captivity. 12 The prince who is among them will lift up his things upon his shoulder in the dark, and will go out through the wall. They will dig through the wall and bring out their things. He will cover his face, so he will not see the land with his eyes. 13 I will spread out my net over him and he will be caught in my snare; then I will bring him to Babylon, the land of the Chaldeans, but he will not see it. He will die there.

14 Espalharei também, em toda direção, todos os que estiverem ao redor dele para seu socorro, bem como todo seu exército, e enviarei a espada atrás deles. 15 Então, eles saberão que Eu sou Yahweh, quando lhes espalhar no meio das nações e os dispersar por toda parte da terra. 16 Mas pouparei alguns homens no meio deles, da espada e da praga, para que contem todas as suas abominações entre as nações para onde forem, e saberão que Eu sou Yahweh'".

14 I will also scatter in every direction all of those around him who were to assist him and his entire army, and I will send out a sword after them. 15 Then they will know that I am Yahweh, when I scatter them among the nations and disperse them throughout the lands. 16 But I will spare a few men from among them from the sword, famine, and plague, so they may record all of their abominations in the lands where I take them, so they will know that I am Yahweh."

17 Veio a mim a palavra de Yahweh, dizendo: 18 "Filho do homem, come o teu pão com tremor, e bebe a tua água com estremecimento e com receio.

17 The word of Yahweh came to me, saying, 18 "Son of man, eat your bread with trembling, and drink your water with shaking and worry.

19 Então, dize ao povo da terra: "Assim diz Yahweh Deus acerca dos habitantes de Jerusalém e da terra de Israel: Eles comerão o seu pão com tremor e beberão a sua água estremecendo, pois a terra será despojada da sua abundância, por causa da violência daqueles que vivem nela. 20 E as cidades onde habitam serão desoladas; a terra será improdutiva; e sabereis que Eu sou Yahweh".

19 Then say to the people of the land, 'The Lord Yahweh says this concerning the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and the land of Israel, "They will eat their bread with trembling and drink their water while shaking, since the land will be despoiled of its fullness because of the violence of all those who live there. 20 So the cities that were inhabited will be desolate, and the land will become a wasteland; so you will know that I am Yahweh."'"

21 Veio outra vez a palavra do Senhor a mim dizendo: 22 "Filho do homem, que provérbio é este que vós tendes na terra de Israel que diz: 'Os dias estão prolongados e toda visão falhou'? 23 Portanto, dize-lhes: 'Assim diz Yahweh Deus: Eu porei fim neste provérbio e o povo de Israel não o usará mais'. Fala para eles: 'Os dias estão próximos, quando toda visão será cumprida'.

21 Again the word of Yahweh came to me, saying, 22 "Son of man, what is this proverb that you have in the land of Israel that says, 'The days are prolonged, and every vision fails'? 23 Therefore, say to them, 'The Lord Yahweh says this: I will put an end to this proverb, and the people of Israel will no longer use it.' Say to them, 'The days have drawn near when every vision will be fulfilled.

24 Porque não haverá mais falsas visões ou adivinhações no meio da casa de Israel. 25 Porque Eu, Yahweh, falo e realizo as palavras que digo. Não será mais adiada. Pois Eu falarei essa palavra em vossos dias, casa rebelde, e cumprirei! Esta é a declaração de Yahweh'".

24 For there will no longer be any false visions or favorable divinations within the house of Israel. 25 For I am Yahweh! I speak, and I carry out the words that I speak. The matter will no longer be delayed. For I will speak this word in your days, rebellious house, and I will carry it out!—this is the Lord Yahweh's declaration.'"

26 E veio, de novo, a palavra de Yahweh a mim, dizendo: 27 "Filho do homem! Vê, a casa de Israel tem dito: 'A visão que ele vê é para muitos dias no futuro e ele profetiza sobre os tempos que estão longe'. 28 Portanto, dize-lhes: 'Assim diz Yahweh Deus: As Minhas palavras não serão mais adiadas; a palavra que Eu falei se cumprirá — essa é a declaração de Yahweh Deus'".

26 Again the word of Yahweh came to me, saying, 27 "Son of man! Behold, the house of Israel has said, 'The vision that he sees is for many days from now, and he prophesies of far off times.' 28 Therefore say to them, 'The Lord Yahweh says this: My words will not be delayed any longer, but the word that I have spoken will be done—this is the Lord Yahweh's declaration.'"
