1 No primeiro dia da semana, enquanto ainda era escuro, Maria Madalena foi ao sepulcro e viu que a pedra havia sido removida. 2 Então, ela correu ao encontro de Simão Pedro e do outro discípulo, a quem Jesus amava, e disse-lhes: "Retiraram o Senhor do sepulcro, e nós não sabemos onde O puseram".

1 Now early on the first day of the week, while it was still dark, Mary Magdalene came to the tomb and she saw the stone rolled away from the tomb. 2 So she ran and came to Simon Peter and to the other disciple whom Jesus loved, and she said to them, "They took away the Lord out from the tomb, and we do not know where they have laid him."

3 Então Pedro e o outro discípulo saíram e foram ao sepulcro. 4 Os dois corriam juntos; e o outro discípulo correu mais do que Pedro, e chegou ao sepulcro primeiro. 5 Abaixando-se, viu as roupas de linho deixadas lá, mas não entrou.

3 Then Peter and the other disciple went out, and they were going to the tomb. 4 They both ran together, and the other disciple quickly ran ahead of Peter and arrived at the tomb first. 5 Then stooping down, he saw the linen cloths lying there, but he did not go inside.

6 Então, chegou Simão Pedro depois dele, e foi para dentro do sepulcro, e viu os lençóis de linho deixados ali, 7 e o lenço que estava em Sua cabeça, o qual não foi deixado com os lençóis de linho, mas enrolado em um lugar à parte.

6 Simon Peter then arrived after him and went into the tomb. He saw the linen cloths lying there 7 and the cloth that had been on his head. It was not lying with the linen cloths but was folded up in a place by itself.

8 Então, o outro discípulo, o que chegou primeiro, também entrou no sepulcro; ele viu e creu. 9 Pois, até aquele momento, eles não compreendiam o que a Escritura dizia, que Jesus devia ressuscitar dentre os mortos. 10 Então, os discípulos voltaram novamente para casa.

8 Then the other disciple, the one who first arrived at the tomb, also went in, and he saw and believed. 9 For until that time they still did not know the scripture that he should rise from the dead. 10 So the disciples went back home again.

11 Contudo, Maria permaneceu fora do sepulcro chorando. Enquanto chorava, parou e olhou dentro do sepulcro, 12 e viu dois anjos de branco sentados, onde o corpo de Jesus repousara, um à cabeça e outro aos pés. 13 Eles lhe falaram: "Mulher, por que choras?". Ela lhes respondeu: "Porque levaram meu Senhor, e eu não sei onde O puseram".

11 But Mary was standing outside the tomb weeping. As she wept, she stooped down into the tomb. 12 She saw two angels in white sitting, one at the head, and one at the foot of where the body of Jesus had lain. 13 They said to her, "Woman, why are you weeping?" She said to them, "Because they took away my Lord, and I do not know where they have put him."

14 Quando ela falou isso, olhou em volta e viu Jesus parado ali; mas ela não sabia que Ele era Jesus. 15 Jesus lhe disse: "Mulher, por que choras? A quem procuras?". Ela pensou que Ele era o jardineiro, então ela Lhe falou: "Senhor, se Tu O tiraste daqui, fala-me onde O colocaste, e eu O levarei".

14 When she said this, she turned around and saw Jesus standing there, but she did not know that it was Jesus. 15 Jesus said to her, "Woman, why are you weeping? Whom are you looking for?" She thought that he was the gardener, so she said to him, "Sir, if you have taken him away, tell me where you have put him, and I will take him away."

16 Jesus lhe disse: "Maria!". Ela, virando-se, disse para Ele em aramaico: "Raboni!" (que quer dizer: "Mestre"). 17 Jesus lhe disse: "Não me segures, porque eu ainda não subi para o Pai. Mas vá para meus irmãos, e diga-lhes que Eu subirei para Meu Pai e vosso Pai, e Meu Deus e vosso Deus". 18 Maria Madalena foi, e disse aos discípulos: "Vi o Senhor!", e contou as coisas que Ele lhe dissera.

16 Jesus said to her, "Mary." She turned and said to him in Aramaic, "Rabboni" (which is to say "Teacher"). 17 Jesus said to her, "Do not touch me, for I have not yet gone up to the Father, but go to my brothers and say to them that I will go up to my Father and your Father, and my God and your God." 18 Mary Magdalene came and told the disciples, "I have seen the Lord," and that he had said these things to her.

19 Sendo, pois, tarde, naquele primeiro dia da semana, estando os discípulos reunidos com as portas trancadas, por medo dos judeus, Jesus veio e colocou-Se no meio deles, e disse-lhes: "Paz seja convosco". 20 Depois de dizer isso, mostrou-lhes as mãos e o lado. E quando os discípulos viram o Senhor, alegraram-se.

19 On the evening of that day, the first day of the week, the doors being locked where the disciples were for fear of the Jews, Jesus came and stood in the middle of them and said to them, "Peace to you." 20 After he said this, he showed them his hands and his side. The disciples rejoiced when they saw the Lord.

21 Em seguida, Jesus lhes disse outra vez: "Paz seja convosco. Como o Pai Me enviou, Eu também vos envio". 22 Quando Jesus disse isso, soprou neles e disse-lhes: "Recebei o Espírito Santo. 23 Se perdoardes os pecados de alguém, serão perdoados; se os retiverdes, serão retidos".

21 Jesus then said to them again, "Peace to you. As the Father has sent me, so I am sending you." 22 When Jesus had said this, he breathed on them and said to them, "Receive the Holy Spirit. 23 Whoever's sins you forgive, they are forgiven; whoever's sins you keep back, they are kept back."

24 Tomé, um dos doze, chamado Dídimo, não estava com eles quando Jesus veio. 25 Os outros discípulos depois disseram-lhe: "Vimos o Senhor". Ele lhes disse: "Se eu não vir em Suas mãos as marcas dos pregos, e colocar meu dedo dentro das marcas dos pregos, e minha mão no Seu lado, eu não crerei".

24 Thomas, one of the twelve, called Didymus, was not with them when Jesus came. 25 The other disciples later said to him, "We have seen the Lord." He said to them, "Unless I see in his hands the mark of the nails, and put my finger into the mark of the nails, and put my hand into his side, I will not believe."

26 Oito dias depois, os discípulos estavam outra vez ali reunidos, e Tomé estava com eles. Estando as portas trancadas, Jesus colocou-Se no meio deles, e disse-lhes: "Paz seja convosco". 27 Então, Ele disse para Tomé: "Põe aqui os teus dedos, e vê as Minhas mãos; estende aqui a tua mão, e a coloca no Meu lado; não sejas incrédulo, mas crê".

26 After eight days his disciples were inside again, and Thomas was with them. Jesus came while the doors were closed, and stood among them, and said, "Peace to you." 27 Then he said to Thomas, "Reach here with your finger and see my hands. Reach here with your hand and put it into my side. Do not be unbelieving, but believe."

28 Tomé respondeu e disse-Lhe: "Meu Senhor e meu Deus!". 29 Jesus disse-lhe: "Porque Me viste, tu creste? Benditos são aqueles que não viram e creram".

28 Thomas answered and said to him, "My Lord and my God." 29 Jesus said to him, "Because you have seen me, you have believed. Blessed are those who have not seen, and believed."

30 Na verdade, Jesus realizou, na presença de Seus discípulos, muitos outros sinais, os quais não foram escritos neste livro. 31 Estes, porém, foram escritos para que creiais que Jesus é o Cristo, o Filho de Deus, e para que, crendo, tenhais vida em Seu nome.

30 Now Jesus did many other signs in the presence of the disciples, signs that have not been written in this book, 31 but these have been written so that you would believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and so that believing, you would have life in his name.
