1 Então, todo o Israel foi registrado em genealogias. Eles foram registrados no livro dos reis de Israel. E, Judá foi levado em exílio para a Babilônia, por causa do seu pecado. 2 Os primeiros a se restabelecerem em suas cidades foram alguns israelitas, sacerdotes, levitas e servidores do templo. 3 Alguns descendentes de Judá, Benjamim, Efraim e Manassés habitaram em Jerusalém.

1 So all Israel was recorded in genealogies. They were recorded in the book of the kings of Israel. As for Judah, they were carried away in exile to Babylon because of their faithlessness. 2 The first to resettle in their possessions, in their cities, were some Israelites, priests, Levites, and temple servants. 3 Some descendants of Judah, Benjamin, Ephraim, and Manasseh lived in Jerusalem.

4 The settlers included Uthai son of Ammihud son of Omri son of Imri son of Bani, one of the descendants of Perez son of Judah. 5 Among the Shelanites were Asaiah the firstborn and his sons. 6 Among the descendants of Zerah was Jeuel. Their descendants numbered 690.

7 Entre os descendentes de Benjamim, estavam Salu, filho de Mesulão, filho de Hodavias, filho de Hassenuá. 8 Também estavam Ibneias, filho de Jeroão; Elá, filho de Uzi, filho de Micri; Mesulão, filho de Sefatias, filho de Reuel, filho de Ibnijas. 9 Seus parentes, inscritos nas genealogias, foram novecentos e cinquenta e seis. Todos esses homens eram líderes nos clãs de seus antepassados.

7 Among the descendants of Benjamin were Sallu son of Meshullam son of Hodaviah son of Hassenuah. 8 There were also Ibneiah son of Jeroham; Elah son of Uzzi son of Mikri; and Meshullam son of Shephatiah son of Reuel son of Ibnijah. 9 Their kinsmen, according to the genealogical records, numbered 956. All these men were heads of fathers' houses for their fathers' houses.

10 Os sacerdores foram Jedaías, Jeoiaribe e Jaquim. 11 Azarias, filho de Hilquias, filho de Mesulão, filho de Zadoque, filho de Meraiote, filho de Aitube, era responsável pela Casa de Deus.

10 The priests were Jedaiah, Jehoiarib, and Jakin. 11 There was also Azariah son of Hilkiah son of Meshullam son of Zadok son of Meraioth son of Ahitub, the one in charge of the house of God.

12 Adaías, filho de Jeroão, filho de Pasur, filho de Malquias; Maasai, filho de Adiel, filho de Jareza, filho de Mesulão, filho de Mesilemite, filho de Imer; 13 e seus parentes, eram líderes nos clãs de seus antepassados, e foram mil setecentos e sessenta. Eles foram homens capacitados no trabalho da Casa de Deus.

12 There was Adaiah son of Jeroham son of Pashhur son of Malkijah. There was also Maasai son of Adiel son of Jahzerah son of Meshullam son of Meshillemith son of Immer. 13 Their relatives, who were leaders of their clans, numbered 1,760. They were very capable men for the work of service in the house of God.

14 Entre os levitas, havia Semaías, filho de Hassube, filho de Azricão, filho de Hasabias, entre os descendendes de Merari. 15 Havia também Baquebacar, Heres, Galal e Matanias, filho de Mica, filho de Zicri, filho de Asafe. 16 Obadias, filho de Samaías, filho de Galal, filho de Jedutum; e Berequias, filho de Asa, filho de Elcana, que habitou nos povoados dos netofatitas.

14 Among the Levites, there was Shemaiah son of Hasshub son of Azrikam son of Hashabiah, among the descendants of Merari. 15 There were also Bakbakkar, Heresh, Galal, and Mattaniah son of Mika son of Zikri son of Asaph. 16 There were also Obadiah son of Shemaiah son of Galal son of Jeduthun; and Berekiah son of Asa son of Elkanah, who lived in the villages of the Netophathites.

17 Os porteiros foram Salum, Acube, Talmom, Aimã, e seus descendentes. 17 The doorkeepers were Shallum, Akkub, Talmon, Ahiman, and their descendants. Shallum was their leader. 18 Previously they stood guard at the king's gate on the east side for the camp of Levi's descendants. 19 Shallum son of Kore son of Ebiasaph, [[ Ebiasaph is the same person referred to as " Asaph " in 1 Chronicles 26:1. ]] son of Korah, and his relatives from his clan, the Korahites, were in charge of the work of the guard service. They guarded the door to the tent, as their ancestors had guarded the camp of Yahweh, and they also had guarded the entrance.

20 Phinehas son of Eleazar had been in charge of them in the past, and Yahweh had been with him. 21 Zechariah son of Meshelemiah was guard of the entrance to the tent of meeting.

22 All those who were chosen as gatekeepers at the entrances numbered 212. Their names were recorded in the people's genealogies in their villages. David and Samuel the seer had appointed them to their positions of trust. 23 So they and their descendants were assigned to guard the gates of the house of Yahweh, that is called the house of the tabernacle. 24 The gatekeepers were posted on all four sides, toward the east, west, north, and south.

25 Seus irmãos, que habitavam nos seus povoados, vinham em turnos de sete dias. 26 Mas os quatro líderes dos porteiros, que eram levitas, foram encarregados de guardar as salas e os armazéns da Casa de Deus. 27 Eles passavam a noite em seus postos, ao redor da Casa de Deus, porque eram responsáveis por guardá-la e abri-la a cada manhã.

25 Their brothers, who lived in their villages, came in for seven-day rotations, in turn. 26 But the four leaders of the gatekeepers, who were Levites, were entrusted with the rooms and with the storerooms in the house of God. 27 They would spend the night in their posts all around the house of God, for they were responsible for guarding it. They would open it each morning.

28 Some of them were in charge of the temple's equipment; they counted the articles when they were brought in and when they were taken out. 29 Some of them also were assigned to take care of the holy things, the equipment, and the supplies, including the fine flour, the wine, the oil, the frankincense, and the spices.

30 Some of the priests' sons mixed the spices. 31 Mattithiah, one of the Levites, who was the firstborn of Shallum the Korahite, was in charge of preparing bread for the offerings. 32 Some of their brothers, descendants of the Kohathites, were in charge of the bread of the presence, to prepare it every Sabbath.

33 Os cantores e os chefes da família dos levitas moravam em quartos no santuário, eles estavam isentos de trabalho porque realizavam suas tarefas dia e noite. 34 Estes foram líderes de família entre os levitas, como listados em seus registros genealógicos. Eles habitavam em Jerusalém.

33 The singers and heads of the Levites' clans lived in rooms at the sanctuary when they were free from work, because they had to carry out their assigned tasks day and night. 34 These were leaders of the clans of the Levites, according to the genealogical records, chief men. They lived in Jerusalem.

35 O pai de Gibeão, Jeiel, cuja mulher se chamava Maaca, habitava em Gibeão. 36 Seu primogênito foi Abdom, depois seus filhos Zur, Quis, Baal, Ner, Nadabe, 37 Gedor, Aiô, Zacarias e Miclote.

35 The father of Gibeon, Jeiel, whose wife's name was Maakah, lived in Gibeon. 36 His firstborn son was Abdon, then his sons Zur, Kish, Baal, Ner, Nadab, 37 Gedor, Ahio, Zechariah, and Mikloth.

38 Miclote foi o pai de Simeão. Eles também habitaram perto de seus irmãos em Jerusalém. 39 Ner foi o pai de Quis. Quis foi o pai de Saul. Saul foi o pai de Jônatas, Malquisua, Abinadabe e Es-Baal. 40 O filho de Jônatas foi Meribe-Baal. Meribe-Baal foi o pai de Mica.

38 Mikloth was the father of Shimeam. They also lived near their brothers in Jerusalem. 39 Ner was the father of Kish. Kish was the father of Saul. Saul was the father of Jonathan, Malki-Shua, Abinadab, and Esh-Baal. 40 The son of Jonathan was Merib-Baal. Merib-Baal was the father of Micah.

41 Os filhos de Mica foram Pitom, Meleque, Tareá e Acaz. 42 Acaz foi o pai de Jará. Jará foi o pai de Alemete, Azmavete e Zinri. Zinri foi o pai de Moza. 43 Moza foi o pai de Bineá. Bineá foi o pai de Refaías. Refaías foi o pai de Eleasa. Eleasa foi o pai de Azel. 44 Os seis filhos de Azel foram Azricão, Bocru, Ismael, Searias, Obadias e Hanã. Estes foram os filhos de Azel.

41 The sons of Micah were Pithon, Melek, Tahrea, and Ahaz. 42 Ahaz was the father of Jadah. Jadah was the father of Alemeth, Azmaveth, and Zimri. Zimri was the father of Moza. 43 Moza was the father of Binea. Binea was the father of Rephaiah. Rephaiah was the father of Eleasah. Eleasah was the father of Azel. 44 Azel had six sons, and their names were Azrikam, Bokeru, Ishmael, Sheariah, Obadiah, and Hanan. These were Azel's sons.
