1 Estes são os filhos de Davi que nasceram em Hebrom: o primôgenito foi Amnon, de Ainoã de Jezreel; o segundo, Daniel, de Abigail de Carmel; 2 o terceiro foi Absalão, cuja mãe era Maacá, filha de Talmai, rei de Gesur; o quarto foi Adonias, filho de Hagite; 3 o quinto, Sefatias, de Abital; o sexto, Itreão, de sua esposa Eglá.

1 Now these are the sons of David who were born to him in Hebron: the firstborn was Amnon, by Ahinoam from Jezreel; the second was Daniel, by Abigail from Carmel; 2 the third was Absalom, whose mother was Maakah, daughter of Talmai king of Geshur. The fourth was Adonijah son of Haggith; 3 the fifth was Shephatiah by Abital; the sixth was Ithream by Eglah his wife.\m

4 Esses seis nasceram para Davi em Hebrom, onde ele reinou por sete anos e seis meses. Ele, então, reinou por trinta e três anos em Jerusalém. 5 Estes quatro filhos, de Bate-Seba, filha de Amiel, nasceram em Jerusalém: Simeia, Sobabe, Natã e Salomão.

4 These six were born to David in Hebron, where he reigned seven years and six months. He then ruled thirty-three years in Jerusalem. 5 These four sons, by Bathsheba daughter of Ammiel, were born to him in Jerusalem: Shammua, Shobab, Nathan, and Solomon. [[ One ancient Hebrew copy and the ancient Latin translation have " Bathseba " however, most ancient Hebrew copies have " Bathshua " . 1 Samuel 12:24 is clear that Bathsheba was Solomon's mother, and so her name is spelled here, "Bathsheba", so as to avoid confusion. ]]

6 Os outros nove filhos de Davi eram Ibar, Elisua, Elpalete, 7 Nogá, Nefegue, Jafia, 8 Elisama, Eliadá e Elifelete. 9 Esses foram os filhos de Davi, sem incluir os filhos de suas concubinas. Tamar era irmã deles.

6 David's other nine sons were: Ibhar, Elishua, Eliphelet, 7 Nogah, Nepheg, Japhia, 8 Elishama, Eliada, and Eliphelet. 9 These were David's sons, not including the sons by his concubines. Tamar was their sister.

10 O filho de Salomão foi Roboão. O filho de Roboão foi Abias. O filho de Abias foi Asa. O filho de Asa foi Josafá. 11 O filho de Josafá foi Jorão. O filho de Jorão foi Acazias. O filho de Acazias foi Joás. 12 O filho de Joás foi Amazias. O filho de Amazias foi Azarias. O filho de Azarias foi Jotão.

10 Solomon's son was Rehoboam. Rehoboam's son was Abijah. Abijah's son was Asa. Asa's son was Jehoshaphat. 11 Jehoshaphat's son was Jehoram. Jehoram's son was Ahaziah. Ahaziah's son was Joash. 12 Joash's son was Amaziah. Amaziah's son was Azariah. Azariah's son was Jotham.

13 O filho de Jotão foi Acaz. O filho de Acaz foi Ezequias. O filho de Ezequias foi Manassés. 14 O filho de Manassés foi Amom. O filho de Amom foi Josias.

13 Jotham's son was Ahaz. Ahaz's son was Hezekiah. Hezekiah's son was Manasseh. 14 Manasseh's son was Amon. Amon's son was Josiah.

15 O filho primôgenito de Josias foi Joanã; seu segundo filho, Jeoaquim; seu terceiro filho, Zedequias; e seu quarto filho, Salum. 16 O filho de Jeoaquim foi Jeconias. O último rei foi Zedequias.

15 Josiah's sons were his firstborn Johanan, his second son Jehoiakim, his third son Zedekiah, and his fourth son Shallum. 16 Jehoiakim's sons were Jehoiachin and Zedekiah.

17 Os filhos de Jeconias, o cativo, foram Sealtiel, 18 Malquirão, Pedaías, Senazar, Jecamias, Hosama e Nedabias.

17 The descendants of Jehoiachin the captive, were Shealtiel, 18 Malkiram, Pedaiah, Shenazzar, Jekamiah, Hoshama, and Nedabiah.

19 Os filhos de Pedaías foram Zorobabel e Simei. Os filhos de Zorobabel foram Mesulão, Hananias e Selomite, irmã deles. 20 Seus outros cinco filhos foram Hasubá, Oel, Berequias, Hasadias e Jusabe-Hesede. 21 Os filhos de Hananias foram Pelatias e Jesaías; e os filhos Refaías, os filhos de Arnã, os filhos de Obadias, os filhos de Secanias.

19 Pedaiah's sons were Zerubbabel and Shimei. Zerubbabel's sons were Meshullam and Hananiah; Shelomith was their sister. 20 His other five sons were Hashubah, Ohel, Berekiah, Hasadiah, and Jushab-Hesed. 21 Hananiah's sons were Pelatiah and Jeshaiah. His son was Rephaiah, and further descendants were Arnan, Obadiah, and Shekaniah.

22 O filho de Secanias foi Semaías. Os filhos de Semaías foram Hatus, Igal, Bariá, Nearias e Safate. 23 Os três filhos de Nearias foram Elioenai, Ezequias e Azricão. 24 Os sete filhos de Elioenai foram Hodavias, Eliasibe, Pelaías, Acube, Joanã, Delaías e Anani.

22 The descendants of Shekaniah were Shemaiah and his sons: Hattush, Igal, Bariah, Neariah, and Shaphat. 23 Neariah's three sons were Elioenai, Hizkiah, and Azrikam. 24 Elioenai's seven sons were Hodaviah, Eliashib, Pelaiah, Akkub, Johanan, Delaiah, and Anani.
