1 Eles trouxeram a Arca de Deus e a colocaram no meio da tenda que Davi havia montado para ela. Então, ofereceram holocaustos e ofertas pacíficas diante de Deus. 2 Quando Davi terminou os sacríficios de holocaustos e ofertas pacíficas, ele abençoou o povo em nome de Yahweh. 3 Ele distribuiu para todo israelita, tanto para homens como para mulheres, uma porção de pão, um pedaço de carne e bolo de uva passas.

1 They brought in the ark of God and put it in the middle of the tent that David had set up for it. Then they offered burnt offerings and fellowship offerings before God. 2 When David had finished offering up the burnt offering and the fellowship offerings, he blessed the people in the name of Yahweh. 3 He distributed to every man of Israel, to both men and women, a loaf of bread, and a piece of meat, and a cake of raisins.

4 Davi designou determinados levitas para servir, diante da Arca de Yahweh, celebrar, agradecer e louvar Yahweh, o Deus de Israel. 5 Esses levitas foram Asafe, o líder, e, depois dele, Zacarias, Jeiel, Semiramote, Jaiel, Matitias, Eliabe, Benaia, Obede-Edom e Jeiel. Estes tocavam instrumentos de cordas e harpas. Asafe devia tocar os címbalos bem alto. 6 Os sarcedotes Benaia e Jaaziel tocavam as trombetas regularmente, diante da Arca da Aliança de Deus.

4 David appointed certain Levites to serve before the ark of Yahweh, and to celebrate, thank and praise Yahweh, the God of Israel. 5 These Levites were Asaph the leader, and second to him Zechariah, Jaaziel, Shemiramoth, Jehiel, Mattithiah, Eliab, Benaiah, Obed-Edom, and Jeiel. These were to play with lutes and harps. Asaph was to sound the cymbals, sounding loudly. 6 Benaiah and Jahaziel the priests were to blow the trumpets regularly, before the ark of the covenant of God.

7 Então, naquele dia, Davi primeiro nomeou a Asafe e seus irmãos para entoar esse cântico de agradecimento a Yahweh. 8 Dai graças a Yahweh, invocai o Seu nome, fazei conhecidos Seus atos entre as nações. 9 Cantai a Ele, cantai louvores a Ele, falai de todos os Seus maravilhosos atos.

7 Then on that day David first appointed Asaph and his brothers to sing this song of thanksgiving to Yahweh. 8 Give thanks to Yahweh, call on his name; make known his deeds among the nations. 9 Sing to him, sing praises to him; speak of all his marvelous deeds.

10 Gloriai-vos em Seu santo nome, deixai que se alegre o coração daqueles que buscam a Yahweh. 11 Buscai a Yahweh e Sua força, buscai a Sua presença continuamente.

10 Boast in his holy name; let the heart of those who seek Yahweh rejoice. 11 Seek Yahweh and his strength; seek his presence continually.

12 Lembrai-vos das coisas maravilhosas que Ele fez, Seus milagres e os decretos de Sua boca, 13 vós, descendentes de Israel, Seu servo, vós, povo de Jacó, Seus escolhidos. 14 Ele é Yahweh, nosso Deus. Seus decretos estão por toda a terra.

12 Recall the marvelous things he has done, his miracles and the decrees from his mouth, 13 you descendants of Israel his servant, you people of Jacob, his chosen ones. 14 He is Yahweh, our God. His decrees are on all the earth.

15 Guardai Sua aliança na mente para sempre, a palavra que Ele ordenou por mil gerações. 16 Ele traz à lembrança a aliança que Ele fez com Abraão, e Seu juramento a Isaque; 17 o que Ele confirmou a Jacó por estatuto, e a Israel como um pacto eterno. 18 Ele disse: "Dar-vos-ei a terra de Canaã como parte da vossa herança".

15 Keep his covenant in mind forever, the word that he commanded for a thousand generations. 16 He calls to mind the covenant that he made with Abraham, and his oath to Isaac. 17 This is what he confirmed to Jacob as a statute, and to Israel as an everlasting covenant. 18 He said, "I will give you the land of Canaan as your share of your inheritance."

19 Eu disse isso quando vós éreis apenas um pequeno grupo, tão poucos, e eram estranhos na terra. 20 Eles foram de nação em nação, de um reino a outro. 21 Ele não permitiu que ninguém os oprimisse, Ele puniu reis pelo bem do povo. 22 Ele disse: "não toqueis nos meus ungidos e não causeis dano aos Meus profetas".

19 When they were only few in number, so very few, and they were strangers in the land, 20 they wandered from nation to nation, from one kingdom to another. 21 He did not allow anyone to oppress them; he punished kings for their sakes. 22 he said, "Do not touch my anointed ones, and do not harm my prophets."

23 Cantai a Yahweh, toda a terra, anunciai Sua salvação dia após dia. 24 Declarai a Sua glória entre as nações, Seus maravilhosos atos entre as nações.

23 Sing to Yahweh, all the earth; announce his salvation day after day. 24 Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous deeds among all the nations.

25 Pois Yahweh é grande e digno de ser louvado, e será temido entre todos os outros deuses. 26 Porque todos os deuses das nações são ídolos, mas foi Yahweh quem criou os céus. 27 Esplendor e majestade estão em Sua presença. Força e alegria estão diante dEle.

25 For Yahweh is great and is to be praised greatly, and he is to be feared above all other gods. 26 For all the gods of the nations are idols, but it is Yahweh who made the heavens. 27 Splendor and majesty are in his presence. Strength and joy are in his place.

28 Tributai a Yahweh, vós clãs dos povos, tibutai a Yahweh glória e força. 29 Tributai a Yahweh a glória devida ao Seu nome. Trazei uma oferta e vinde diante dele. Curvai-vos diante de Yahweh em Seu santo esplendor.

28 Ascribe to Yahweh, you clans of peoples, ascribe to Yahweh glory and strength! 29 Ascribe to Yahweh the glory his name deserves. Bring an offering and come before him. Bow down to Yahweh in the splendor of holiness.

30 Tremei diante Dele toda a terra. O mundo também está estabelecido, não pode ser abalado. 31 Alegrem-se os céus, regozige-se a terra; seja dito entre as nações, "Yahweh reina".

30 Tremble before him, all the earth. The world also is established; it cannot be shaken. 31 Let the heavens be glad, and let the earth rejoice; let them say among the nations, "Yahweh reigns."

32 Que o mar ruja, e as suas criaturas gritem com alegria. Que os campos sejam alegres, e tudo o que neles há. 33 Que as árvores das florestas gritem de alegria diante de Yahweh, porque Ele vem julgar a terra.

32 Let the sea roar, and that which fills it shout with joy. Let the fields be joyful, and all that is in them. 33 Then let the trees in the forest shout for joy before Yahweh, for he is coming to judge the earth.

34 Louvai a Yahweh, porque Ele é bom, porque a fidelidade da Sua aliança dura para sempre. 35 Então, dizei: "Salva-nos, Deus da nossa salvação. Ajunta-nos e livra-nos das outras nações, para que possamos dar graças ao Teu santo nome e glória em Teus louvores".

34 Give thanks to Yahweh, for he is good, for his covenant faithfulness endures forever. 35 Then say, "Save us, God of our salvation. Gather us together and rescue us from the other nations, so that we may give thanks to your holy name and glory in your praises."

36 Seja Yahweh, o Deus de Israel, louvado de eternidade a eternidade. Todos que estavam ali disseram: "Amém" e louvaram a Yahweh.

36 May Yahweh, the God of Israel, be praised from everlasting to everlasting.\m All the people said, "Amen" and praised Yahweh.

37 Então, Davi deixou Asafe e seus irmãos diante da Arca da Aliança de Yahweh, para servirem continuamente diante da arca, como requeria a obra de todos os dias. 38 Obede-Edom com seus sessenta e oito parentes estavam incluídos. Obede-Edom, filho de Jedutum, junto com Hosa, seria porteiro. 39 Zadoque, o sarcedote, e seus irmãos sacerdotes, serviriam diante do tabernáculo de Yahweh, no lugar alto, em Gibeão.

37 So David left Asaph and his brothers there before the ark of the covenant of Yahweh, to serve continually before the ark, as every day's work required. 38 Obed-Edom with those sixty-eight relatives were included. Obed-Edom son of Jeduthun, along with Hosah, were to be gatekeepers. 39 Zadok the priest and his fellow priests were to serve before the tabernacle of Yahweh at the high place in Gibeon.

40 Eles ofereceriam holocaustos para Yahweh no altar apropriado, continuamente, pela manhã e à tarde, conforme tudo quanto estava escrito na lei de Yahweh, a qual Ele deu por mandamento a Israel. 41 Hemã e Jedutum estavam com eles, juntamente com os restantes que foram escolhidos pelo nome, para dar graças a Yahweh, porque a fidelidade da Sua aliança dura para sempre.

40 They were to offer burnt offerings to Yahweh on the altar for burnt offerings continually morning and evening, according to all that is written in the law of Yahweh, which he gave as a command to Israel. 41 Heman and Jeduthun were with them, together with the rest who were chosen by name, to give thanks to Yahweh, because his covenant faithfulness endures forever.

42 Hemã e Jedutum estavam no comando daqueles que tocavam trombetas, címbalos e outros instrumentos para a música sagrada. Os filhos de Jedutum guardavam o portão. 43 Então, todo o povo se foi para as suas casas, e Davi voltou para abençoar sua própria casa.

42 Heman and Jeduthun were in charge of those who played trumpets, cymbals, and the other instruments for the sacred music. The sons of Jeduthun guarded the gate. 43 Then all the people returned to their homes, and David returned to bless his own household.
