1 Esta é a palavra de Yahweh, declarada sobre a terra de Hadraque e Damasco. Pois o olho de Yahweh está sobre toda a humanidade e também sobre todas as doze tribos de Israel. 2 Esta declaração também é sobre Hamate, cujas extremidades se estendem até Damasco e sobre Tiro e Sidom, embora sejam muito sábios.

1 "This is a declaration of Yahweh's word concerning the land of Hadrak and Damascus, its resting place; for the eyes of all humanity and all the tribes of Israel are toward Yahweh. 2 This declaration also concerns Hamath, which borders on Damascus, and it concerns Tyre and Sidon, for they are very wise.

3 Tiro edificou para si uma fortaleza e amontoou prata como pó e ouro puro como lama nas ruas. 4 Vê! Eis que o Senhor a despojará e destruirá sua força no mar; assim será consumida pelo fogo.

3 Tyre has built herself a stronghold and heaped up silver like dust and refined gold like mud in the streets. 4 Look! The Lord will dispossess her and destroy her strength on the sea, so she will be devoured by fire.

5 Asquelom a verá e será atemorizada! Gaza também terá grande tremor! Ecrom, suas expectativas serão frustradas! O rei de Gaza perecerá e Asquelom não mais será habitada! 6 Forasteiros farão suas habitações em Asdode e a soberba dos filisteus será exterminada. 7 Porque tirarei o seu sangue das suas mãos e as suas abominações que estão entre os seus dentes. Então, serão o remanescente para o nosso Deus, como um clã em Judá, e Ecrom se tornará como os jebuseus.

5 Ashkelon will see and be afraid! Gaza also will tremble greatly! Ekron, her hopes will be disappointed! The king will perish from Gaza, and Ashkelon will not remain. 6 Strangers will make their homes in Ashdod, and I will cut off the pride of the Philistines. 7 For I will remove their blood from their mouths and their abominations from between their teeth. Then they will become a remnant for our God like a clan in Judah, and Ekron will become like the Jebusites.

8 Acamparei ao redor da Minha terra, contra as forças inimigas, para que ninguém saia ou entre; pois nenhum opressor passará por ela. Agora vigiarei a Minha terra com os Meus próprios olhos!

8 I will camp around my land against enemy armies, [[ Most interpreters translate the Hebrew words as " against enemy armies " and some translate the Hebrew " as a guard," and so translate the phrase, " I will surround my temple as a guard " . ]] so no one can pass through or return, for no oppressor will overrun them, for now I see with my own eyes!

9 Exulta, com grande júbilo, ó filha de Sião! Exulta com alegria, ó filha de Jerusalém! Eis que o teu Rei vem a ti com justiça, para te resgatar. Ele é humilde, e vem montado num jumento, num jumentinho, a cria de uma jumenta. 10 Então, exterminarei os carros de Efraim e o cavalo de Jerusalém e o arco será exterminado da batalha; Ele proclamará paz às nações e o Seu domínio será de mar a mar e do rio às extremidades da terra!

9 Rejoice greatly, daughter of Zion! Shout, daughter of Jerusalem! Behold! Your king is coming to you. He is righteous and victorious. He is humble and is riding on a donkey, on the colt of a donkey. 10 Then I will cut off the chariot from Ephraim and the horse from Jerusalem, and the bow will be cut off from battle; for he will speak peace to the nations, and his dominion will be from sea to sea, and from the River to the ends of the earth!

11 "Assim como a ti, libertarei os teus cativos do abismo sem água, por causa do sangue da Minha aliança contigo. 12 Retornai à fortaleza, vós, cativos da esperança! Hoje mesmo, declaro que vos restituirei em dobro, 13 porquanto curvei Judá como Meu arco. Enchi Minha aljava com Efraim. Suscitei teus filhos, Sião, contra os teus filhos, Grécia, e fiz a ti, Sião, como a espada de um valente!".

11 As for you, because of the blood of my covenant with you, I will set your prisoners free from the pit where there is no water. 12 Return to the stronghold, prisoners of hope! Even today I am declaring that I will return double to you, 13 for I have bent Judah as my bow. I have filled my quiver with Ephraim. I have roused your sons, Zion, against your sons, Greece, and have made you, Zion, like a warrior's sword!"

14 Yahweh lhes aparecerá e as Suas flechas sairão como o relâmpago! Pois meu Senhor Yahweh fará soar a trombeta e avançará com tempestades vindas de Teman. 15 Yahweh dos Exércitos vai defendê-los e eles os exterminarão e derrotarão as pedras das fundas. Então, eles beberão e gritarão como homens embriagados com vinho e serão cheios de vinho como bacias, como os cantos do altar.

14 Yahweh will appear to them, and his arrows will shoot out like lightning! For my Lord Yahweh will blow the trumpet and will advance with the storms from Teman. 15 Yahweh of hosts will defend them, and they will devour them and defeat the stones of the slings. Then they will drink and shout like men drunk on wine, and they will be filled with wine like bowls, like the corners of the altar.

16 Então, naquele dia, Yahweh, seu Deus, irá resgatá-los; como o rebanho do Seu povo, porque serão as joias de uma coroa, resplandecendo sobre a sua terra. 17 Quão grande é a sua bondade e quão grande é a sua formosura! Os jovens florescerão com os cereais e as moças virgens com o vinho doce!

16 So Yahweh their God will rescue them on that day, as the flock of his people. They are the jewels of a crown that will shine on his land. 17 How good and how beautiful they will be! The young men will flourish on grain and the virgins on sweet wine!"
