1 Yahweh falou a Moisés no deserto de Sinai, no primeiro mês do segundo ano, depois que eles saíram da terra do Egito. Ele disse: 2 "Deixa o povo de Israel celebrar a Páscoa no tempo determinado do ano. 3 No décimo quarto dia deste mês, ao entardecer, vós celebrareis a Páscoa no tempo determinado do ano. Vós a guardareis, seguireis todos os estatutos e obedecereis a todos os decretos que estão relacionados a ela".

1 Yahweh spoke to Moses in the wilderness of Sinai, in the first month of the second year after they came out from the land of Egypt. He said, 2 "Let the people of Israel keep the Passover at its fixed time of year. 3 On the fourteenth day of this month, at evening, you must keep the Passover at its fixed time of year. You must keep it, follow all the regulations, and obey all the decrees that are related to it."

4 Então, Moisés disse ao povo de Israel que eles deveriam celebrar a Festa da Páscoa. 5 Então, eles celebraram a Páscoa no primeiro mês, no décimo quarto dia do mês, ao entardecer, no deserto de Sinai. O povo de Israel obedeceu a tudo que Yahweh ordenou a Moisés.

4 So, Moses told the people of Israel that they should keep the Festival of the Passover. 5 So they kept the Passover in the first month, on the fourteenth day of the month, at evening, in the wilderness of Sinai. The people of Israel obeyed everything that Yahweh commanded Moses to do.

6 Havia certos homens que se tornaram impuros, por tocarem no cadáver de um homem. Eles não podiam celebrar a Páscoa naquele dia. Então, eles foram diante de Moisés e Aarão naquele mesmo dia. 7 Aqueles homens disseram a Moisés: "nós estamos impuros devido ao cadáver de um homem. Por que tu nos impedes de oferecer o sacrifício para Yahweh no tempo determinado do ano entre o povo de Israel?". 8 Moisés lhes disse: "Esperai para que eu ouça o que Yahweh instruirá acerca de vós".

6 There were certain men who became unclean by the body of a dead man. They could not keep the Passover on that day. They went before Moses and Aaron on that same day. 7 Those men said to Moses, "We are unclean because of the dead body of a man. Why do you keep us from offering the sacrifice to Yahweh at the fixed time of year among the people of Israel?" 8 Moses said to them, "Wait for me to hear what Yahweh will instruct about you."

9 Yahweh falou a Moisés. Ele disse: 10 "Fala ao povo de Israel. Diz: 'Se qualquer um de vós ou vossos descendentes estiverdes impuros, devido a um cadáver ou estiverdes em uma viagem longa, ainda podereis celebrar a Páscoa para Yahweh'.

9 Yahweh spoke to Moses. He said, 10 "Speak to the people of Israel. Say, 'If any of you or your descendants are unclean because of a dead body, or are on a long journey, he may still keep the Passover to Yahweh.'

11 Eles guardarão a Páscoa, no segundo mês, no décimo quarto dia, ao entardecer. Eles comerão com pão sem fermento e ervas amargas. 12 Eles não deixarão nenhuma sobra para a manhã seguinte ou quebrarão osso algum dos animais. Eles devem guardar todos as regras para a Páscoa.

11 In the second month on the fourteenth day at evening, they will eat the Passover meal. They must eat the Passover lamb with bread that is made without yeast and with bitter herbs. 12 They must not leave any of it until the morning, or break any of its bones. They must follow all the regulations for the Passover.

13 Porém, qualquer pessoa que estiver pura e não estiver em viagem, mas que falhar em celebrar a Páscoa, essa pessoa será eliminada de seu povo; porque ele não ofereceu o sacrifício que Yahweh exige no tempo determinado do ano. Tal homem deve carregar seu pecado. 14 Se um estrangeiro vive entre vós e celebra a Páscoa em honra a Yahweh, ele deve celebrá-la e fazer tudo que Ele ordena, guardando os estatutos da Páscoa, obedecendo às leis. Vós tereis a mesma lei para o estrangeiro e para todo aquele que é nativo da terra".

13 But any person who is clean and is not on a journey, but who fails to keep the Passover, that person must be cut off from his people because he did not offer the sacrifice that Yahweh requires at the fixed time of year. That man must carry his sin. 14 If a stranger lives among you and keeps the Passover to Yahweh, he must keep it according to the statute of the Passover and according to its rule. You must have one statute both for the foreigner and for the one who was born in the land."

15 No dia em que o Tabernáculo foi levantado, a nuvem cobriu o Tabernáculo, isto é, a própria Tenda do Testemunho. Ao entardecer, a nuvem permanecia sobre o Tabernáculo e tinha aparência de fogo até pela manhã. 16 Ela permanecia dessa forma. A nuvem cobria o Tabernáculo à noite, tinha a aparência de fogo. 17 Sempre que a nuvem se movia sobre a Tenda, o povo de Israel retomava sua viagem. Sempre que a nuvem parava, o povo acampava.

15 On the day that the tabernacle was set up, the cloud covered the tabernacle, the tent of the covenant decrees. At evening the cloud was over the tabernacle. It appeared like fire until morning. 16 It continued that way. The cloud covered the tabernacle and appeared like fire at night. 17 Whenever the cloud was taken up from over the tent, the people of Israel would set out on their journey. Wherever the cloud stopped, the people would camp.

18 Ao comando de Yahweh, o povo de Israel viajava e, ao Seu comando, eles acampavam. Enquanto a nuvem parava sobre o Tabernáculo, eles ficavam em seu acampamento. 19 Quando a nuvem permanecia sobre o Tabernáculo por muitos dias, o povo de Israel obedecia às instruções de Yahweh e não viajava.

18 At Yahweh's command, the people of Israel would travel, and at his command, they would camp. While the cloud stopped over the tabernacle, they would stay in their camp. 19 When the cloud remained on the tabernacle for many days, then the people of Israel would obey Yahweh's instructions and not travel.

20 Às vezes, a nuvem permanecia poucos dias sobre o Tabernáculo. Neste caso, eles obedeciam o comando de Yahweh — voltariam a acampar e viajar ao Seu comando. 21 Às vezes, a nuvem estava presente no acampamento desde o entardecer até de manhã. Quando a nuvem se elevava pela manhã, eles viajavam. Se ela continuava por um dia e por uma noite, apenas quando a nuvem se elevava, eles seguiam viagem.

20 Sometimes the cloud remained a few days on the tabernacle. In that case, they would obey Yahweh's command—they would make camp and then travel on again at his command. 21 Sometimes the cloud was present in camp from evening until morning. When the cloud lifted in the morning, they journeyed. If it continued for a day and for a night, only when the cloud lifted would they journey on.

22 Se a nuvem ficasse sobre o Tabernáculo por dois dias, um mês ou um ano, pelo tempo que ela permanecesse lá, o povo de Israel ficava no acampamento e não viajava. Mas, sempre que a nuvem se movia, eles seguiam viagem. 23 Eles acampavam sob o comando de Yahweh e viajavam ao Seu comando. Eles obedeciam às ordens de Yahweh, entregues por meio de Moisés.

22 Whether the cloud stayed on the tabernacle for two days, a month, or a year, for as long as it stayed there, the people of Israel would stay in their camp and not travel. But whenever the cloud was taken up, they would set out on their journey. 23 They would camp at Yahweh's command, and they would travel at his command. They obeyed Yahweh's command given through Moses.
