1 Yahweh falou a Moisés. Ele disse: 2 "Fala a Arão e dize-lhe: 'As sete lâmpadas devem iluminar em frente ao candelabro quando tu acendê-las'".

1 Yahweh spoke to Moses. He said, 2 "Speak to Aaron. Say to him, 'The seven lamps must give light in front of the lampstand when you light them.'"

3 Arão fez isso. Ele acendeu as lâmpadas no candelabro para iluminar em frente deste, como Yahweh tinha ordenado a Moisés. 4 O candelabro era feito de ouro batido desde a sua base até o seu topo, com copos batidos em forma de flores, como Yahweh mostrou a Moisés, assim Moisés fez o candelabro.

3 Aaron did this. He lit the lamps on the lampstand to give light toward the front of it, as Yahweh had commanded Moses. 4 The lampstand was made in this way and Yahweh showed Moses the pattern for it. It was to be hammered gold from its base to its top, with hammered cups like blossoms.

5 Novamente, Yahweh falou a Moisés. Ele disse: 6 "Toma os levitas dentre o povo de Israel e purifica-os.

5 Again, Yahweh spoke to Moses. He said, 6 "Take the Levites from among the people of Israel and purify them.

7 Assim farás para purificá-los: Asperge a água da expiação neles. Faze-os rasparem todo o corpo, lavarem suas roupas, e dessa maneira ficarão purificados. 8 Então faze-os pegar um novilho com sua oferta de grãos de flor de farinha amassada com azeite. Permite que peguem outro novilho para oferta pelo pecado.

7 Do this to them to purify them: Sprinkle the water of atonement on them. Make them shave their entire body, wash their clothes, and purify themselves. 8 Then have them take a young bull and its grain offering of fine flour mingled with oil. Let them take another young bull as a sin offering.

9 Apresentarás os levitas perante a Tenda do Encontro, e reunirás toda a comunidade do povo de Israel. 10 Quando apresentares os levitas diante de Yahweh, o povo de Israel colocará as suas mãos sobre os levitas. 11 Arão oferecerá os levitas diante de Yahweh, apresentando-os como oferta movida do povo de Israel para que sirvam Yahweh.

9 You will bring the Levites in front of the tent of meeting and assemble the whole community of the people of Israel. 10 When you bring the Levites before Yahweh, the people of Israel must lay their hands on the Levites. 11 Aaron must offer the Levites before Yahweh, as a wave offering from the people of Israel so that they may do the service of Yahweh.

12 Os levitas colocarão suas mãos sobre as cabeças dos novilhos. Tu sacrificarás um novilho para oferta pelo pecado e o outro novilho para holocausto para Mim, para expiação dos levitas. 13 Apresenta os levitas diante de Arão e diante de seus filhos, e oferece-os como oferta movida para Mim.

12 The Levites must place their hands on the heads of the bulls. You must offer one bull for a sin offering and the other bull for a burnt offering to me, to atone for the Levites. 13 Present the Levites before Aaron and before his sons, and lift them up as a wave offering to me.

14 Dessa maneira tu separarás os levitas dentre o povo de Israel. Os levitas pertencerão a Mim. 15 Depois disso, os levitas entrarão para servir na Tenda do Encontro. Tu os purificarás. Tu os oferecerás para Mim como oferta movida.

14 In this way you must separate the Levites from among the people of Israel. The Levites will belong to me. 15 After that, the Levites must go in to serve in the tent of meeting. You must purify them. You must offer them as a wave offering.

16 Faz isso, pois eles são inteiramente Meus dentre o povo de Israel. Eles tomarão o lugar de cada menino que abre o ventre, o primogênito de toda a descendência de Israel. Eu tenho tomado os levitas para Mim mesmo. 17 Todos os primogênitos entre o povo de Israel são Meus, tanto de homens quanto de animais. No dia em que Eu tirei as vidas de todos os primogênitos na terra do Egito, Eu os consagrei para Mim mesmo.

16 Do this, because they are entirely mine from among the people of Israel. They will take the place of each male child who opens the womb, the firstborn of all the descendants of Israel. I have taken the Levites for myself. 17 All the firstborn from among the people of Israel are mine, both man or animal. On the day that I took the lives of all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, I set them apart for myself.

18 Eu tomei os levitas dentre o povo de Israel em lugar de todo o primogênito. 19 Concedi os levitas como presente para Arão e seus filhos. Eu os tomei, dentre o povo de Israel, para fazerem o trabalho do povo, na Tenda do Encontro. Eu os concedi para fazerem expiação pelo povo de Israel, para que nenhuma praga prejudique o povo de Israel, quando aproximarem-se do lugar santo".

18 I have taken the Levites from among the people of Israel instead of all the firstborn. 19 I have given the Levites as a gift to Aaron and his sons. I have taken them from among the people of Israel to do the work of the people of Israel in the tent of meeting. I have given them to atone for the people of Israel so that no plague will harm the people when they come near to the holy place."

20 Assim Moisés, Arão, e toda comunidade do povo de Israel fizeram com os levitas. Eles fizeram tudo o que Yahweh ordenara a Moisés acerca dos levitas. Assim lhes fizeram o povo de Israel. 21 Os levitas purificaram a si mesmos dos pecados lavando suas roupas, e Arão apresentou-os por oferta movida para Yahweh e fez expiação por eles, para que fossem purificados.

20 Moses, Aaron, and the whole community of the people of Israel did this with the Levites. They did everything that Yahweh had commanded Moses concerning the Levites. The people of Israel did this with them. 21 The Levites purified themselves and washed their clothing, and Aaron presented them as a wave offering to Yahweh and he made atonement for them to cleanse them.

22 Depois disso, os levitas entraram para fazer o serviço deles na Tenda do Encontro diante de Arão e de seus filhos. Assim era como Yahweh havia ordenado a Moisés sobre os levitas. Assim eles fizeram.

22 After that, the Levites went in to do their service in the tent of meeting before Aaron and before Aaron's sons. This was as Yahweh had commanded Moses about the Levites. They treated all the Levites in this way.

23 Yahweh falou novamente a Moisés: 24 "Tudo isso é para os levitas que tenham vinte cinco anos ou mais. Estarão juntos para servirem na Tenda do Encontro.

23 Yahweh spoke again to Moses. He said, 24 "All of this is for the Levites who are twenty-five years old and more. They must join the company to serve in the tent of meeting.

25 Eles devem parar de servir dessa maneira com a idade de cinquenta anos. Nesta idade eles não devem servir mais. 26 Eles podem ajudar seus irmãos que continuam a trabalhar na Tenda do Encontro, mas não devem mais servir. Assim conduzirás os levitas em todos estes assuntos".

25 They must stop serving in this way at the age of fifty years. At that age they must not serve any longer. 26 They may help their brothers who continue to work at the tent of meeting, but they must serve no more. You must direct the Levites in all these matters."
