1 Estas foram as caminhadas do povo de Israel depois de deixarem a terra do Egito, segundo seus exércitos, sob a liderança de Moisés e Arão. 2 Moisés registrou os lugares de onde partiram e para onde foram, como Yahweh ordenou. Estas eram suas caminhadas, partida após partida.

1 These were the movements of the people of Israel after they left the land of Egypt by their armed groups under the leadership of Moses and Aaron. 2 Moses wrote down the places from where they left to where they went, as commanded by Yahweh. These were their movements, departure after departure.

3 Viajaram de Ramessés durante o primeiro mês, saindo no décimo quinto dia. Na manhã seguinte da Páscoa, o povo de Israel partiu corajosamente, à vista de todos os egípcios. 4 Isso ocorreu enquanto os egípcios estavam enterrando todos os seus primogênitos, aqueles a quem Yahweh havia matado, depois de executar juízos também contra os seus deuses.

3 They traveled from Rameses during the first month, leaving on the fifteenth day of the first month. On the morning after the Passover, the people of Israel left openly, in the sight of all the Egyptians. 4 This happened while the Egyptians were burying all their firstborn, those whom Yahweh had killed among them, for he also inflicted punishment on their gods.

5 O povo de Israel saiu de Ramessés e acampou em Sucote. 6 Saíram de Sucote e acamparam em Etã, nos limites do deserto. 7 Saíram de Etã e voltaram para Pi-Hairote, que está oposta a Baal-Zefom, onde acamparam próximo de Migdol.

5 The people of Israel set out from Rameses and camped at Sukkoth. 6 They set out from Sukkoth and camped at Etham, on the edge of the wilderness. 7 They set out from Etham and turned back to Pi Hahiroth, which is opposite Baal Zephon, where they camped opposite Migdol.

8 Então, saíram de Pi-Hairote e atravessaram pelo meio do mar, em direção ao deserto. Viajaram três dias pelo deserto de Etã e acamparam em Mara. 9 Saíram de Mara e chegaram a Elim. Em Elim, havia doze fontes de água e setenta palmeiras. Ali foi onde acamparam. 10 Saíram de Elim e acamparam junto ao mar Vermelho.

8 Then they set out from opposite Pi Hahiroth and passed through the middle of the sea into the wilderness. They traveled three days' journey into the wilderness of Etham and camped at Marah. 9 They set out from Marah and arrived at Elim. At Elim were twelve springs of water and seventy palm trees. That is where they camped. 10 They set out from Elim and camped by the Sea of Reeds.

11 They set out from the Sea of Reeds and camped in the wilderness of Sin. 12 They set out from the wilderness of Sin and camped at Dophkah. 13 They set out from Dophkah and camped at Alush. 14 They set out from Alush and camped at Rephidim, where no water was found for the people to drink.

15 They set out from Rephidim and camped in the wilderness of Sinai. 16 They set out from the wilderness of Sinai and camped at Kibroth Hattaavah. 17 They set out from Kibroth Hattaavah and camped at Hazeroth. 18 They set out from Hazeroth and camped at Rithmah.

31 They set out from Moseroth and camped at Bene Jaakan. 32 They set out from Bene Jaakan and camped at Hor Haggidgad. 33 They set out from Hor Haggidgad and camped at Jotbathah. 34 They set out from Jotbathah and camped at Abronah.

35 Saíram de Abrona e acamparam em Eziom-Geber. 36 Saíram de Eziom-Geber e acamparam no deserto de Zim, em Cades. 37 Saíram de Cades e acamparam no Monte Hor, na fronteira da terra de Edom.

35 They set out from Abronah and camped at Ezion Geber. 36 They set out from Ezion Geber and camped in the wilderness of Zin at Kadesh. 37 They set out from Kadesh and camped at Mount Hor, at the edge of the land of Edom.

38 Arão, o sacerdote, subiu ao Monte Hor, por ordem de Yahweh, e ali morreu, no quadragésimo ano, após a saída do povo de Israel da terra do Egito, no quinto mês, no primeiro dia do mês. 39 Arão estava com cento e vinte e três anos quando morreu no Monte Hor.

38 Aaron the priest went up Mount Hor at Yahweh's command and died there in the fortieth year after the people of Israel had come out of the land of Egypt, in the fifth month, on the first day of the month. 39 Aaron was a 123 years old when he died on Mount Hor.

40 O Cananeu, rei de Arade, que vivia na região sul do deserto, na terra Canaã, ouviu sobre a vinda do povo de Israel.

40 The Canaanite, the king of Arad, who lived in the southern wilderness in the land of Canaan, heard of the coming of the people of Israel.

41 Saíram do Monte Hor e acamparam em Zalmona. 42 Saíram de Zalmona e acamparam em Punom. 43 Saíram de Punom e acamparam em Obote.

41 They set out from Mount Hor and camped at Zalmonah. 42 They set out from Zalmonah and camped at Punon. 43 They set out from Punon and camped at Oboth.

44 Saíram de Obote e acamparam em Ijé-Abarim, na fronteira de Moabe. 45 Saíram de Ijé-Abarim e acamparam em Dibom-Gade. 46 Saíram de Dibom-Gade e acamparam em Almom-Diblataim.

44 They set out from Oboth and camped at Iye Abarim, on the border of Moab. 45 They set out from Iye Abarim and camped at Dibon Gad. 46 They set out from Dibon Gad and camped at Almon Diblathaim.

47 Saíram de Almom-Diblataim e acamparam nas montanhas de Abarim, em frente a Nebo. 48 Saíram das montanhas de Abarim e acamparam nas planícies de Moabe, junto ao Jordão, em Jericó. 49 Acamparam no Jordão, de Bete-Jesimote até Abel-Sitim, nas planícies de Moabe.

47 They set out from Almon Diblathaim and camped in the mountains of Abarim, opposite Nebo. 48 They set out from the mountains of Abarim and camped in the plains of Moab by the Jordan at Jericho. 49 They camped by the Jordan, from Beth Jeshimoth to Abel Shittim in the plains of Moab.

50 Yahweh falou a Moisés na planície de Moabe junto ao Jordão em Jericó e disse: 51 "Fala ao povo de Israel e dize-lhes: 'Quando cruzardes o Jordão para entrardes na terra de Canaã, 52 expulsareis todos os moradores da terra de diante de vós. Destruireis todas as suas imagens esculpidas, todas as imagens fundidas e demolireis todos os seus santuários.

50 Yahweh spoke to Moses in the plains of Moab by the Jordan at Jericho and said, 51 "Speak to the people of Israel and say to them, 'When you cross over the Jordan into the land of Canaan, 52 then you must drive out all the land's inhabitants before you. You must destroy all their carved figures. You must destroy all their cast figures and demolish all their high places.

53 E tomai posse da terra e habitai nela, porque Eu vos tenho dado a terra para a possuirdes. 54 Herdai a terra por sorte, de acordo com cada clã. Para os clãs maiores, dai um grande pedaço de terra, e, para os grupos pequenos, dai um pequeno pedaço de terra. Em quaisquer clãs que a sorte cair, a terra lhes pertencerá. Vós herdareis a terra de acordo com as tribos de vossos antecessores.

53 You must take possession of the land and settle in it, because I have given you the land to possess. 54 You must inherit the land by lot, according to each clan. To the larger clans you must give a larger share of land, and to the smaller clans you must give a smaller share of land. Wherever the lot falls to each clan, that land will belong to it. You will inherit the land according to your ancestors' tribes.

55 Mas, se não expulsardes os moradores da terra de diante de vós, então, as pessoas que permitirdes ficar se tornarão como farpas nos vossos olhos e espinhos nas vossas costelas. Elas tornarão a vossa vida difícil onde vos instalardes. 56 Então, o que Eu intento fazer com esse povo, Eu farei também a vós'".

55 But if you do not drive out the land's inhabitants before you, then the people you allow to stay will become like objects in your eyes and thorns in your sides. They will make your lives difficult in the land where you settle. 56 Then it will happen that what I now intend to do to those people, I will do also to you.'"
