1 Mas, nos últimos dias, acontecerá que o monte da Casa de Yahweh será estabelecido sobre os outros montes; será exaltado sobre as colinas e para ele afluirão os povos.

1 But in the last days it will come about that the mountain of the house of Yahweh will be established as the chief over the other mountains. It will be exalted above the hills, and peoples will stream to it.

2 Muitas nações irão e dirão: "Vinde, subamos ao monte de Yahweh, para a Casa do Deus de Jacó. Ele ensinará Seus caminhos e andaremos em Seus passos." Porque a Lei virá de Sião e a palavra de Yahweh, de Jerusalém. 3 Ele julgará entre muitos povos e será o árbitro sobre muitas nações longínquas. De suas espadas farão arados, e das suas lanças, foices. Nação não mais levantará a espada contra outra nação, nem mais treinarão para a guerra.

2 Many nations will go and say, "Come, let us go up to the mountain of Yahweh, to the house of the God of Jacob. He will teach us his ways, and we will walk in his paths." For from Zion the law will go out, and the word of Yahweh from Jerusalem. 3 He will judge among many peoples and will decide concerning numerous nations far away. They will beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation will not lift up sword against nation, nor will they train for war any longer.

4 Em vez disso, eles sentarão, cada um debaixo da sua videira e debaixo da sua figueira. Ninguém os fará temer, porque a Boca de Yahweh dos exércitos falou. 5 Porque todos os povos andam, cada um, em nome do seu deus. Mas nós andaremos no Nome de Yahweh, nosso Deus, para todo o sempre.

4 Instead, they will sit every person under his vine and under his fig tree. No one will make them afraid, for the mouth of Yahweh of hosts has spoken. 5 For all the peoples walk, each one, in the name of their god. But we will walk in the name of Yahweh our God forever and ever.

6 "Naquele dia", diz Yahweh, "irei congregar a que mancava e ajuntar a que fora exilada, aqueles que Eu afligi. 7 Farei da que manca remanescente e dos que foram exilados uma nação forte; e Eu, Yahweh, reinarei sobre eles no monte Sião, agora e para sempre. 8 E tu, torre de guarda do rebanho, fortaleza da filha de Sião, a ti virá, sim, a restauração do teu domínio antigo, o reino que pertence à filha de Jerusalém.

6 "On that day"—this is Yahweh's declaration— "I will assemble the lame and gather the outcast, those whom I have afflicted. 7 I will turn the lame into a remnant, and the ones driven away into a strong nation, and I, Yahweh, will reign over them on Mount Zion, now and forever. 8 As for you, watchtower for the flock, hill of the daughter of Zion— to you it will come, your former dominion will be restored, the kingdom that belongs to the daughter of Jerusalem.

9 Agora, por que gritas tão alto? Não há rei no meio de ti? Teu conselheiro morreu? É por isso que foste tomado de dores como de uma mulher que está em trabalho de parto? 10 Sofre dores e esforça-te para dar à luz, como uma mulher em trabalho de parto, ó filha de Sião. Porque agora sairás da cidade, viverás no campo e irás para Babilônia. Ali, serás resgatada. Ali, Yahweh vai te resgatar das mãos de teus inimigos.

9 Now, why do you shout so loudly? Is there no king among you? Has your counselor died? Is this why pain like a woman in labor seizes you? 10 Be in pain and labor to give birth, daughter of Zion, like a woman in labor. For now you will you go out of the city, live in the field, and go to Babylon. There you will be rescued. There Yahweh will redeem you from the hand of your enemies.

11 Agora muitas nações se congregaram contra ti; elas dizem: 'Que Jerusalém seja profanada, que nossos olhos se regozijem sobre Sião.'" 12 O profeta diz: "Eles não conhecem os pensamentos de Yahweh, nem entendem Seus planos, pois Ele juntou as nações como feixes para a eira".

11 Now many nations are assembled against you; they say, 'Let her be defiled; let our eyes gloat over Zion.' 12 They do not know Yahweh's thoughts, neither do they understand his plans, for he has gathered them like bundles of grain prepared for the threshing floor.

13 Yahweh diz: "Levanta-te e castiga, ó filha de Sião, porque farei de ferro os teus chifres e de bronze os teus cascos. Tu esmagarás muitos povos e consagrarei tuas riquezas injustas e teus bens para Mim mesmo, Yahweh, o Senhor de toda terra".

13 Arise and thresh, daughter of Zion, for I will make your horn to be iron, and I will make your hooves to be bronze. You will crush many peoples and you will devote their unjust gain to Yahweh, their wealth to the Lord of the whole earth."
