1 Yahweh falou a Moisés no Monte Sinai, dizendo: 2 "Fala com o povo de Israel e diga a eles: 'Quando entrares na terra que eu vos dou, guardareis um sábado para Yahweh.

1 Yahweh spoke to Moses on Mount Sinai, saying, 2 "Speak to the people of Israel and say to them, 'When you come into the land that I give you, then the land must be made to keep a Sabbath for Yahweh.

3 Vós devereis plantar no campo por seis anos, e por seis anos podareis as vossas vinhas e colhereis os frutos. 4 Mas no sétimo ano, devereis observar um sábado solene de descanso para a terra, um sábado para Yahweh. Não devereis plantar em vosso campo ou podar vossas vinhas.

3 You must plant your field for six years, and for six years you must prune your vineyard and gather the produce. 4 But in the seventh year, a Sabbath of solemn rest for the land must be observed, a Sabbath for Yahweh. You must not plant your field or prune your vineyard.

5 Não devereis organizar colheita de qualquer alimento que cresça por si mesma, vós não devereis conduzir colheita organizada de qualquer uva que cresça de vinhas não podadas. Este será um ano de descanso solene para a terra. 6 Qualquer fruto que a terra não trabalhada produza durante o ano sabático, será comida para vós. Vós, vossos servos e servas, vossos servos contratados e os estrangeiros que vivem convosco certamente colherão comida. 7 E vosso gado, e também os animais silvestres certamente comerão o que quer que a terra há de produzir.

5 You must not conduct an organized harvest of whatever grows by itself, and you must not conduct an organized harvest of whatever grapes grow on your unpruned vines. This will be a year of solemn rest for the land. 6 Whatever the unworked land grows during the Sabbath year will be food for you. You, your male and female servants, your hired servants and the foreigners who live with you may gather food, 7 and your livestock and also wild animals may eat whatever the land produces.

8 Vós devereis contar sete sábados do ano, que serão, sete vezes sete anos, então tereis sete sábados de anos, totalizando quarenta e nove anos. 9 Então farás soar uma alta trombeta em todo lugar no décimo dia do sétimo ano. No Dia da Expiação certamente tocarás a trombeta por toda a tua terra.

8 You must count off seven Sabbaths of years, that is, seven times seven years, so that there will be seven Sabbaths of years, totaling forty-nine years. 9 Then you must blow a loud trumpet everywhere on the tenth day of the seventh month. On the Day of Atonement you must blow a trumpet throughout all your land.

10 Vós devereis dedicar o quinquagésimo ano para Yahweh e proclamareis liberdade entre as terras, e para todos os seus habitantes. Este será um ano jubileu para vós, no qual devolvereis propriedades para vossos donos e retornareis escravos para vossas famílias.

10 You must set apart the fiftieth year to Yahweh and proclaim liberty throughout the land to all its inhabitants. It will be a Jubilee for you, in which property and slaves must be returned to his own clan.

11 O quinquagésimo ano será um jubileu para vós. Não devereis plantar ou conduzir colheita organizada. Comereis qualquer que nascer por si só, e colhereis as uvas que nascerem de vinhas não podadas. 12 Pois é o ano jubileu, o qual será santo para vós. Comereis do campo o que crescer por si só.

11 The fiftieth year will be a Jubilee for you. You must not plant or conduct an organized harvest. Eat whatever grows by itself, and gather the grapes that grow on the unpruned vines. 12 For it is a Jubilee, which will be holy for you. You must eat the produce that grows by itself out of the fields.

13 Devolvereis a todos suas propriedades no ano jubileu. 14 Se vós venderdes alguma terra a vosso vizinho ou comprardes alguma terra de vosso vizinho, certamente não o enganareis ou trapaceareis uns aos outros.

13 You must return everyone to his own property in this year of Jubilee. 14 If you sell any land to your neighbor or buy any land from your neighbor, you must not cheat or wrong each other.

15 Se vós comprardes terra de vosso vizinho, considereis o número de anos e safras que poderão ser colhidas até o próximo jubileu. Vosso vizinho o qual vende a terra considerará isto também. 16 Um grande número de anos até o próximo jubileu aumentará o valor da terra, e um menor número de anos até o próximo jubileu diminuirá o valor da terra, porque o número de colheitas que a terra produzirá para o novo proprietário está relacionado com o número de anos até o próximo jubileu. 17 Vós não sereis desonestos ou rudes com vosso próximo; pelo contrário, honrarás vosso Deus, pois Eu sou Yahweh, vosso Deus.

15 If you buy land from your neighbor, consider the number of years and crops that can be harvested until the next Jubilee. Your neighbor selling the land must consider that also. 16 A larger number of years until the next Jubilee will increase the value of land, and a smaller number of years until the next Jubilee will decrease the value, because the number of harvests the land will produce for the new owner is related to the number of years before the next Jubilee. 17 You must not cheat or wrong one another; instead, you must honor your God, for I am Yahweh your God.

18 Portanto vós devereis obedecer aos meus decretos, guardareis as Minhas Leis e as levarei adiante. Então vós vivereis na terra em segurança. 19 A terra dará frutos, e vós comereis e vos fartareis e ali vivereis em segurança.

18 Therefore you must obey my decrees, keep my laws, and carry them out. Then you will live in the land in safety. 19 The land will yield its produce, and you will eat your fill and live there in safety.

20 Se vós disserdes: "O que haveremos de comer durante o sétimo ano? Veja, não podemos plantar ou colher ou produzir." 21 Eu vos ordenarei minha bênção sobre vós no sexto ano, e este ano produzirá safra suficiente para três anos. 22 Vós plantareis no oitavo ano e continuareis a comer a colheita do ano anterior e estocareis a comida. Até a próxima colheita do nono ano, podereis comer os mantimentos guardados do ano anterior.

20 You might say, "What will we eat during the seventh year? Look, we cannot plant or gather our produce." 21 I will command my blessing to come upon you in the sixth year, and it will produce harvest enough for three years. 22 You will plant in the eighth year and continue to eat from the previous years' produce and the stored food. Until the harvest of the ninth year comes in, you will be able to eat from the provisions stored in the previous years.

23 Não vendereis a terra para um novo dono permanente, porque a terra é Minha. Vós todos sois estrangeiros e residentes temporários em Minha terra. 24 Vós deveis observar o direito de resgate para todas as terras que adquirirdes; devereis permitir que as terras sejam compradas de volta pela família da qual vós comprardes. 25 Se vosso irmão israelita vier a ficar pobre e por esta razão lhe vender alguma propriedade sua, então seu parente mais próximo deverá vir e comprar de volta sua propriedade a que vos foi vendida.

23 The land must not be sold to a new permanent owner, because the land is mine. You are all foreigners and sojourners on my land. 24 You must observe the right of redemption for all the land that you acquire; you must allow the land to be bought back by the family from whom you bought it. 25 If your fellow Israelite became poor and for that reason sold some of his property, then his nearest relative must come and redeem what his brother has sold.

26 Se um homem não tiver parentes para resgatar sua propriedade, mas ele prosperou e tem capacidadede para resgatá-la, 27 então ele calculará os anos desde que as terras foram vendidas e pagará o equivalente ao homem a quem vendeu. Então ele certamente voltará a sua propriedade. 28 Mas se ele não for capaz de tomar a terra de volta para si, então a terra vendida permanecerá na posse daquele que a comprou até o ano jubileu. No ano jubileu, a terra será devolvida ao homem que a vendeu, e o seu dono original retornará à sua propriedade.

26 If a man has no relative to redeem his property, but if he has prospered and has the ability to redeem it, 27 then he may calculate the years since the land was sold and repay the balance to the man to whom he sold it. Then he may return to his own property. 28 But if he is not able to get the land back for himself, then the land he has sold will remain in the ownership of the one who bought it until the year of Jubilee. At the year of Jubilee, the land will be returned to the man who sold it, and the original owner will return to his property.

29 Se um homem vender uma casa em uma cidade murada, então ele poderá comprá-la de volta dentro de um ano após ser vendida. Por um ano inteiro ele terá o direito de resgatá-la. 30 Se a casa não for resgatada dentro de um ano inteiro, então a casa na cidade murada se tornará propriedade permanente do homem que a comprou, por toda geração de seus descendente. Esta casa não será devolvida no ano jubileu.

29 If a man sells a house in a walled city, then he may buy it back within a whole year after it was sold. For a full year he will have the right of redemption. 30 If the house is not redeemed within a full year, then the house in the walled city will become the permanent property of the buyer throughout his generations. It is not to be returned in the year of Jubilee.

31 Mas as casas das vilas que não tiverem muros ao redor serão propriedades ligadas aos campos do país. Elas poderão ser compradas de volta, e deverão ser devolvidas durante o jubileu. 32 Entretanto, as casas pertencentes aos levitas em suas cidades poderão ser resgatadas a qualquer hora.

31 But the houses of the villages that have no wall around them will be considered as the field of the land. They may be redeemed, and they must be returned during the year of Jubilee. 32 As for the cities of the Levites, the houses owned by the Levites in the cities they possess may be redeemed at any time.

33 Se algum dos levitas não resgatar a casa que ele vendeu, então a casa vendida, na cidade onde certamente está localizada, será devolvida no jubileu, pois as casas das cidades dos levitas são suas propriedades entre o povo de Israel. 34 Mas os campos em volta das cidades não poderão ser vendidos porque eles são propriedades permanentes dos levitas.

33 If one of the Levites does not redeem a house he sold, then the house that was sold in the city where it is located must be returned in the year of Jubilee, for the houses of the cities of the Levites are their property among the people of Israel. 34 But the fields around their cities may not be sold because they are the permanent property of the Levites.

35 Se o vosso compatriota se empobrecer a ponto de não poder se sustentar, então devereis ajudá-lo como ajudarias um estrangeiro ou qualquer outro estranho vivendo entre vós. 36 Não cobrareis juros nem tentareis obter lucro por meio dele de maneira alguma, mas honrareis vosso Deus e vosso irmão continuará vivendo convosco. 37 Não empresteis dinheiro a ele com juros, nem vendais vossa comida visando ganhos. 38 Eu sou Yahweh vosso Deus, quem vos tirou do Egito, para vos dar a terra de Canaã, para ser o vosso Deus.

35 If your fellow countryman becomes poor, so that he can no longer provide for himself, then you must help him as you would help a foreigner or a sojourner so that he may live among you. 36 Do not take from him interest or usury, but honor your God so that your brother may keep living with you. 37 You must not give him a loan of money and charge interest, nor sell him your food to earn a profit. 38 I am Yahweh your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, in order that I might give you the land of Canaan, and that I might be your God.

39 Se vosso compatriota vier a empobrecer e se vender para vós, não devereis tratá-lo como escravo. O tratareis como servo contratado. 40 Ele será como alguém que vive temporariamente convosco. Ele servirá convosco até o ano jubileu. 41 Então ele vos deixará, ele e suas crianças com ele, e ele retornará para sua própria família e para a propriedade de seus pais.

39 If your fellow countryman has become poor and sells himself to you, you must not make him work like a slave. 40 Treat him as a hired servant. He must be like a sojourner. He will serve with you until the year of Jubilee. 41 Then he will go away from you, he and his children with him, and he will return to his own clan and to his fathers' property.

42 Pois eles são Meus servos os quais os trouxe para fora da terra do Egito. Eles não serão vendidos como escravos. 43 Não dominareis severamente sobre eles, mas certamente honrareis vosso Deus. 44 Quanto aos vossos escravos e vossas escravas, podereis obtê-los das nações que vivem a vossa volta, certamente comprareis dos que tiverem ao vosso redor.

42 For they are my servants whom I brought out of the land of Egypt. They will not be sold as slaves. 43 You must not rule over them severely, but you must honor your God. 44 As for your male and female slaves, whom you can obtain from the nations who live around you, you may buy slaves from them.

45 Vós também podereis comprar escravos de estrangeiros que estão vivendo dentre vós, isto é, de suas famílias que estão no meio de vós, crianças que nasceram em vossas terras. Elas se tornarão vossa propriedade. 46 Devereis providenciar escravos como herança para vossas crianças depois de vós, para manter como propriedade. Destes, sempre tomareis vossos escravos, mas não dominareis severamente sobre vossos irmãos dentre o povo de Israel.

45 You may also buy slaves from the foreigners who are living among you and from their clans who are with you, who have been born in your land, and they may become your property. 46 You may provide such slaves as an inheritance for your children after you, to hold as property, and make them slaves for life, but you must not rule over your brothers among the people of Israel severely.

47 Se um estrangeiro ou alguém que vive temporariamente convosco se tornar rico, e um dos vossos irmãos israelitas se tornar pobre e vender a si mesmo para este estrangeiro, ou para alguém da família do estrangeiro, 48 depois de vosso irmão israelita ter sido comprado, ele poderá ser comprado de volta. Alguém de sua família poderá resgatá-lo.

47 If a foreigner or someone living temporarily with you has become wealthy, and if one of your fellow Israelites has become poor and sells himself to that foreigner, or to a member of a foreigner's clan, 48 after your fellow Israelite has been bought, he may be bought back. Someone in his family may redeem him.

49 Poderá ser seu tio, ou o filho de seu tio, a resgatá-lo ou qualquer outro parente que seja próximo a sua família. Ou se tiver se tornado próspero poderá resgatar a si mesmo. 50 Ele terá que negociar com o homem que o comprou; eles devem contar os anos desde o ano em que ele se vendeu para seu senhor até o ano jubileu. O preço de sua redenção se baseará no preço de um servo contratado, pelo número de anos que ele trabalharia para aquele que o comprou.

49 It might be the person's uncle, or his uncle's son, who redeems him, or anyone who is in his clan. Or, if he has become prosperous, he may redeem himself. 50 He must bargain with the man who bought him; they must count the years from the year he sold himself to his purchaser until the year of Jubilee. The price of his redemption must be figured in keeping with the rate paid to a hired servant, for the number of years he might continue to work for the one who bought him.

51 Se faltarem muitos anos até o jubileu, ele deve pagar como preço por sua redenção a quantia proporcional ao número destes anos. 52 Se houver poucos anos para o ano jubileu, então ele deve negociar com seu senhor a quantidade de anos antes do jubileu, e pagará por sua redenção proporcionalmente ao número de anos.

51 If there are still many years until the year of Jubilee, he must pay back as the price for his redemption an amount of money that is in proportion to the number of those years. 52 If there are only a few years to the year of Jubilee, then he must bargain with his purchaser to reflect the number of years left before the year of Jubilee, and he must pay for his redemption in keeping with the number of years.

53 Ele deve ser tratado como um homem contratado anualmente. Vós deveis certificar que ele não será tratado severamente. 54 Se ele não for remido sobre estes termos então ele deve servir até o ano jubileu e seus filhos com ele. 55 Para Mim o povo de Israel é servo. Eles são Meus servos, os quais trouxe para fora da terra do Egito. Eu sou Yahweh, vosso Deus'".

53 He is to be to the purchaser like a man hired year by year. The purchaser is not to rule over him severely. 54 If he is not redeemed by these means, then he must serve until the year of Jubilee, he and his children with him. 55 To me the people of Israel are servants. They are my servants whom I brought out of the land of Egypt. I am Yahweh your God.'"
