1 Yahweh falou a Moisés, dizendo: 2 "Diga ao povo de Israel: 'Qualquer um entre o povo de Israel, ou qualquer estrangeiro que viva em Israel, que entregar qualquer um de seus filhos a Moloque, certamente será morto. O povo deste lugar o apedrejará.

1 Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying, 2 "Say to the people of Israel, 'Anyone among the people of Israel, or any foreigner who lives in Israel who gives any of his children to Molech, must certainly be put to death. The people in the land must stone him with stones.

3 E também voltarei o Meu rosto contra esse homem, o expulsarei do meio do povo, pois ele entregou seu filho a Moloque, assim contaminou Meu santo lugar e profanou Meu santo nome. 4 Se o povo deste lugar fechar os olhos a respeito deste homem que entregou algum de seus filhos a Moloque, e não o matar, 5 então Eu mesmo virarei Meu rosto contra ele e seu clã, e o expulsarei, bem como qualquer um que se prostituir seguindo a Moloque.

3 I also will set my face against that man and will cut him off from among his people because he has given his child to Molech, so as to defile my holy place and profane my holy name. 4 If the people of the land close their eyes to that man when he gives any of his children to Molech, if they do not put him to death, 5 then I myself will set my face against that man and his clan, and I will cut him off and everyone else who acts like a prostitute as he did in order to act like a prostitute with Molech.

6 Aos que procuram aqueles que falam com os mortos, ou aqueles que falam com espíritos, prostituindo-se com eles, virarei Meu rosto e os expulsarei do meu do povo. 7 Assim sendo, consagrai-vos a Yahweh e sede santos, pois Eu sou Yahweh, o vosso Deus.

6 The person who turns to those who talk with the dead, or to those who talk with spirits so as to prostitute themselves with them, I will set my face against that person; I will cut him off from among his people. 7 Therefore consecrate yourselves and be holy, because I am Yahweh your God. [[ Several modern translations have " ... because I, Yahweh your God, am holy " . ]]

8 Deverei guardar Meus mandamentos e cumprí-los. Eu sou Yahweh, que vos santifico. 9 Todo aquele que amaldiçoar seu pai ou sua mãe, certamente morrerá. Visto que amaldiçoou seu pai ou sua mãe, então é dele a culpa e merece a morte.

8 You must keep my commands and carry them out. I am Yahweh who sets you apart as holy. 9 Everyone who curses his father or his mother must surely be put to death. He has cursed his father or his mother, so his blood is upon him.

10 O homem que comete adultério com a esposa de outro homem, isto é, qualquer um que cometer adultério com a esposa de teu próximo -- certamente devem ser condenados a morte, ele e a mulher adúltera. 11 O homem que mantem relação sexual com a esposa do pai para dormir com ela desonrou seu próprio pai. Os dois, o filho e a esposa de seu pai, merecem morrer. 12 Se um homem manter relação sexual com sua nora, os dois devem morrer. Estes cometeram perversão. Eles são culpados e merecem morrer.

10 The man who commits adultery with another man's wife, that is, anyone who commits adultery with his neighbor's wife—the adulterer and the adulteress must both certainly be put to death. 11 If a man lies with his father's wife, he uncovers his father's nakedness. Both the son and his father's wife must certainly be put to death. Their blood is upon them. 12 If a man lies with his daughter-in-law, both of them must certainly be put to death. They have committed perversion. Their blood is upon them.

13 Se um homem se deitar com um outro homem, como se fosse uma mulher, ambos cometeram uma abominação e certamente devem morrer. Eles são culpados e merecem a morte. 14 Se um homem se casar com uma mulher e também se casar com a mãe dela, isso é maldade. Eles devem ser queimados, ele e as mulheres, para que não haja maldade no meio de vós.

13 If a man lies with another man, as with a woman, both of them have done what is detestable. They must surely be put to death. Their blood is upon them. 14 If a man marries a woman and also marries her mother, this is wickedness. They must be burned, both he and the women, so that there will be no wickedness among you.

15 Se um homem manter relação com um animal, deverá ser morto, e matareis o animal. 16 Se uma mulher se aproxima de qualquer animal para dormir com ele, deveis matar a mulher e o animal. Eles certamente devem morrer. Eles são culpados e merecem a morte.

15 If a man lies with an animal, he must surely be put to death, and you must kill the animal. 16 If a woman approaches any animal and lies with it, you must kill the woman and the animal. They must certainly be put to death. Their blood is upon them.

17 Se um homem manter relação com sua irmã, mesmo se for filha de seu pai ou filha de sua mãe —mantendo relação com ela e ela com ele, é uma coisa vergonhosa. Eles devem ser expulsos da presença do povo, porque ele teve relações sexuais com sua irmã. Ele levará a culpa. 18 Se um homem manter relação com uma mulher durante o período menstrual dela, ele está descobrindo o fluxo de sangue dela. Assim, ambos, o homem e a mulher, devem ser expulsos do meio do povo.

17 If a man takes his sister, a daughter of his father or a daughter of his mother, and he sees her nakedness, and she sees his nakedness, it is a shameful thing. They must be cut off in the sight of the children of their people. He has uncovered the nakedness of his sister and he must carry his guilt. 18 If a man lies with a woman during her menstrual period and has uncovered her nakedness, he has uncovered her flow, the fountain of her blood. Both the man and woman must be cut off from among their people.

19 Não tereis relação com a irmã de tua mãe, nem com a irmã do teu pai, pois vós haveis de desgraçar vossos parentes próximos. Sobre vós caireis a culpa. 20 Se um homem tiver relação com a esposa de seu tio, ele tem desgraçado seu tio. Eles levarão a culpa e morrerão sem filhos. 21 Se um homem se casar com a esposa do irmão, isso é impureza, pois ele tem violado as relações do casamento de seu irmão e eles não terão filhos.

19 You must not uncover the nakedness of your mother's sister, or your father's sister, because you would disgrace your close relative. You must carry your own guilt. 20 If a man lies with his aunt, he has uncovered his uncle's nakedness. They will bear responsibility for their sin, and they will die childless. 21 If a man marries his brother’s wife, that is abhorrent. He has uncovered his brother's nakedness; they will be childless.

22 Vós devereis, entretanto, guardar todos os meus estatutos; devereis obedecer-lhes na terra para onde Eu estou vos levando para que ela não vos vomite. 23 Vós não devereis andar de acordo com o costume das nações, porque Eu vos conduzirei, pois essas nações têm feito todas essas coisas, e Eu as detesto.

22 You must therefore keep all my statutes and all my decrees; you must obey them so that the land into which I am bringing you to live will not vomit you up. 23 You must not walk in the statutes of the nations that I will drive out before you, for they have done all these things, and I detest them.

24 Eu vos digo: "Vós herdareis essa terra; Eu a darei por vossa possessão, uma terra da qual flui leite e mel. Eu sou Yahweh vosso Deus, que tem vos separado dos outros povos. 25 Devereis, portanto, distinguir entre animais puros e impuros e entre aves puras e impuras. Vós não deveis vos contaminar com animais impuros ou aves ou com qualquer criatura que se rasteja pelo chão, os quais Eu tenho separado de vós como impuros.

24 I said to you, "You will inherit their land; I will give it to you to possess, a land flowing with milk and honey. I am Yahweh your God, who has separated you from the other peoples. 25 You must therefore distinguish between the clean animals and the unclean, and between the unclean birds and the clean. You must not make yourselves detestable with unclean animals or birds or with any creature that crawls along the ground, which I have separated as unclean from you.

26 Vocês devem ser santos, pois Eu, Yahweh, sou santo, e Eu vos tenho separado dos outros povos, pois pertenceis a Mim.

26 You must be holy, for I, Yahweh, am holy, and I have separated you from the other peoples, for you belong to me.

27 Um homem ou uma mulher que fala com os mortos ou fala com espíritos certamente devem morrer. O povo deverá apedrejá-los. Eles são culpados e merecem morrer'".

27 A man or a woman who talks with the dead or who talks with spirits must certainly be put to death. The people must stone them with stones. Their blood is upon them.'"
