1 Então, os líderes tribais dos levitas foram até Eleazar, o sacerdote, e a Josué, filho de Num, e até os líderes das famílias de seus antepassados dentro do povo de Israel. 2 E disseram-lhes em Siló, na terra de Canaã: "Yahweh vos ordenou, pela mão de Moisés, que nos désseis cidades para nela habitar, e pastagens para o nosso gado".

1 Then the tribal leaders of the Levites came to Eleazar the priest, to Joshua son of Nun, and to the leaders of the families of their ancestors within the people of Israel. 2 They said to them at Shiloh in the land of Canaan, "Yahweh commanded you by the hand of Moses to give to us cities to live in, with the pasturelands for our livestock."

3 Então, pela ordem de Yahweh, o povo de Israel deu de suas heranças aos levitas as seguintes cidades e seus pastos:

3 So by the command of Yahweh, the people of Israel gave out of their inheritance the following cities, including their pasturelands, to the Levites.

4 O clã dos coatitas foi sorteado. Assim, os sacerdotes, os descendentes de Arão, que eram dos levitas, receberam treze cidades da tribo de Judá, da tribo de Simeão, e da tribo de Benjamim. 5 As outras famílias do clã coatita receberam, por meio de sorteio, dez cidades dos clãs das tribos de Efraim, Dã e da metade da tribo de Manassés.

4 The casting of lots for the clans of the Kohathites gave this result: The priests—the descendants of Aaron who were from the Levites—received thirteen cities given from the tribe of Judah, from the tribe of the Simeon, and from the tribe of Benjamin. 5 The rest of Kohath’s descendants received by lot ten towns from the clans of the tribes of Ephraim, Dan, and from the half tribe of Manasseh.

6 E os descendentes de Gérson, por sorteio, receberam treze cidades dos clãs das tribos de Issacar, Aser, Naftali e da metade da tribo de Manassés em Basã. 7 O povo que era descendente de Merari, clã por clã, recebeu doze cidades das tribos de Rúben, Gade e Zebulom.

6 Then the people descended from Gershon were given, by the casting of lots, thirteen cities from the clans of the tribes of Issachar, Asher, Naphtali, and the half tribe of Manasseh in Bashan. 7 The people who were descendants of Merari, clan by clan, received twelve cities from the tribes of Reuben, Gad, and Zebulun.

8 Assim, o povo de Israel deu essas cidades, incluindo os seus pastos, para os levitas, através de sorteio, como Yahweh os havia ordenado pela mão de Moisés. 9 Das tribos de Judá e Simeão, eles designaram mais algumas cidades da terra, aqui listadas por nome. 10 Elas foram dadas aos descendentes de Arão, que estavam entre os clãs dos coatitas, que eram da tribo de Levi. 8 So the people of Israel gave, by casting lots, these cities (including their pasturelands) to the Levites, just as Yahweh had commanded by the hand of Moses. 9 From the tribes of Judah and Simeon, they assigned land to the following cities, here listed by name. 10 These cities were given to the descendants of Aaron, who were among the clans of the Kohathites, who in turn were from the tribe of Levi. For the first casting of lots had fallen to them.

11 Os israelitas lhes deram Quiriate-Arba (Arba era o pai de Anaque), que é mesmo lugar que Hebrom, na região montanhosa de Judá, com as pastagens ao seu redor. 12 Mas os campos da cidade e os seus vilarejos já haviam sido dados a Calebe, filho de Jefoné, como sua propriedade.

11 The Israelites gave them Kiriath Arba (Arba had been the father of Anak), the same place as Hebron, in the hill country of Judah, with the pasturelands around it. 12 But the fields of the city, including their villages, were already given to Caleb son of Jephunneh, as his possession.

13 Para os descendentes de Arão, o sacerdote, deram Hebrom com suas pastagens, que era uma cidade de refúgio para quem matasse outro sem intenção, e Libna com suas pastagens, 14 Jatir com as suas pastagens e Estemoa com suas pastagens. 15 Também deram Holom com suas pastagens, Debir com suas pastagens, 16 Aim com suas pastagens, Jutá com os suas pastagens, Bete-Semes com suas pastagens. Foram dadas nove cidades dessas duas tribos.

13 To the descendants of Aaron the priest they gave Hebron with its pasturelands—which was a city of refuge for anyone who killed another unintentionally—and Libnah with its pasturelands, 14 Jattir with its pasturelands, and Eshtemoa with its pasturelands. 15 They also gave Holon with its pasturelands, Debir with its pasturelands, 16 Ain with its pasturelands, Juttah with its pasturelands, and Beth Shemesh with its pasturelands. There were nine cities that were given from these two tribes.

17 Da tribo de Benjamim, foram dadas Gibeão com suas pastagens, Geba com suas pastagens, 18 Anatote com suas pastagens, e Almom com suas pastagens, quatro cidades. 19 As cidades que foram dadas aos sacerdotes, os descendentes de Arão, foram treze cidades ao todo, incluindo suas pastagens.

17 From the tribe of Benjamin were given Gibeon with its pasturelands, Geba with its pasturelands, 18 Anathoth with its pasturelands, and Almon with its suburbs—four cities. 19 The cities given to the priests, the descendants of Aaron, were thirteen cities in all, including their pasturelands.

20 Quanto ao restante das famílias dos filhos de Coate, levitas que pertencem aos clãs dos coatitas, receberam, por sorteio, estas cidades da tribo de Efraim: 21 Foram-lhes dadas Siquém com suas pastagens na região montanhosa de Efraim, cidade de refúgio para qualquer que matar alguém sem intenção, Gezer com suas pastagens, 22 Quibzaim com os suas pastagens e Bete-Horom com suas pastagens. Quatro cidades ao todo.

20 As for the rest of the Kohathites who belong to the Kohathite clans of the Levites—they had cities given to them from the tribe of Ephraim by the casting of lots. 21 To them were given Shechem with its pasturelands in the hill country of Ephraim—a city of refuge for anyone who killed a person unintentionally—Gezer with its pasturelands, 22 Kibzaim with its pasturelands, and Beth Horon with its pasturelands—four cities in all.

23 Da tribo de Dã, foram dadas ao clã de Coate: Elteque com suas pastagens, Gibetom com suas pastagens, 24 Aijalom com suas pastagens e Gate-Rimon com suas pastagens. Quatro cidades ao todo.

23 From the tribe of Dan, the clan of Kohath was given Eltekeh with its pasturelands, Gibbethon with its pasturelands, 24 Aijalon with its pasturelands, and Gath Rimmon with its pasturelands—four cities in all.

25 Da meia tribo de Manassés, duas cidades foram dadas ao clã de Coate: Taanaque com suas pastagens e Gate-Rimon com suas pastagens. 26 Houve dez cidades ao todo para os demais dos clãs coatitas, incluindo suas pastagens.

25 From the half tribe of Manasseh, the clan of Kohath was given Taanach with its pasturelands and Gath Rimmon with its pasturelands—two cities. 26 There were ten cities in all for the rest of the clans of the Kohathites, including their pasturelands.

27 Da meia tribo de Manassés, duas cidades foram dadas aos clãs de Gérson (que eram outros clãs de levitas): Golã, em Basã, com suas pastagens, uma cidade de refúgio para qualquer que matar alguém sem intenção, juntamente com Beesterá e suas pastagens.

27 From the half tribe of Manasseh, to clans of Gershon, these were other Levite clans, and they gave Golan in Bashan with its pasturelands—a city of refuge for anyone who killed another unintentionally, along with Be Eshterah with its pasturelands—two cities in all.

28 Para os clãs de Gérson também deram Quisiom, da tribo de Issacar, com suas pastagens, Daberate com suas pastagens, 29 Jarmute com suas pastagens, e En-Ganim com suas pastagens. Quatro cidades ao todo. 30 Da tribo de Aser, deram Misal com suas pastagens, Abdom com suas pastagens, 31 Helcate com suas pastagens, e Reobe com suas pastagens. Quatro cidades ao todo.

28 To the clans of Gershon they also gave Kishion from the tribe of Issachar, along with its pasturelands, Daberath with its pasturelands, 29 Jarmuth with its pasturelands, and En Gannim with its pasturelands—four cities. 30 From the tribe of Asher, they gave Mishal with its pasturelands, Abdon with its pasturelands, 31 Helkath with its pasturelands, and Rehob with its pasturelands—four cities in all.

32 Da tribo de Naftali, foram dadas aos clãs de Gerson: Quedes com suas pastagens, na Galileia, cidade de refúgio para qualquer que matar alguém sem intenção; Hamote-Dor com suas pastagens, Cartã com os suas pastagens. Três cidades ao todo. 33 Houve treze cidades ao todo, dos clãs de Gérson, incluindo suas pastagens.

32 From the tribe of Naphtali, they gave the clans of Gershon Kedesh in Galilee with its pasturelands—a city of refuge for anyone who killed another unintentionally; Hammoth Dor with its pasturelands, and Kartan with its pasturelands—three cities in all. 33 There were thirteen cities in all, out of the clans of Gershon, including their pasturelands.

34 Para os demais levitas, os clãs de Merari, foram-lhes dadas da tribo de Zebulom: Jocneão com suas pastagens, Cartá com suas pastagens, 35 Dimna com suas pastagens, e Naalal com suas pastagens. Quatro cidades ao todo.

34 To the rest of the Levites—the clans of Merari—were given out of the tribe of Zebulun: Jokneam with its pasturelands, Kartah with its pasturelands, 35 Dimnah with its pasturelands, and Nahalal with its pasturelands—four cities in all.

36 Para os clãs de Merari, quatro cidades foram dadas da tribo de Rúben: Bezer com suas pastagens, Jaza com suas pastagens, 37 Quedemote com suas pastagens, Mefaate com suas pastagens. 38 E, da tribo de Gade, foram-lhes dadas Ramote com suas pastagens, que fica em Gileade, cidade de refúgio para qualquer que matar alguém sem intenção, e Maanaim com suas pastagens.

36 To the clans of Merari were given from the tribe of Reuben: Bezer with its pasturelands, Jahaz with its pasturelands, 37 Kedemoth with its pasturelands, and Mephaath with its pasturelands—four cities. 38 Out of the tribe of Gad they were given Ramoth in Gilead with its pasturelands—a city of refuge for anyone who killed another unintentionally—and Mahanaim with its pasturelands.

39 Aos clãs de Merari também foram dadas Hesbom com suas pastagens, e Jazer com suas pastagens. 40 Todas essas cidades foram dadas aos vários clãs de Merari, que eram da tribo de Levi. Doze cidades ao todo lhes foram dadas por meio de sorteio.

39 The clans of Merari were also given Heshbon with its pasturelands, and Jazer with its pasturelands. These were four cities in all. 40 All these were the cities of the several clans of Merari, who were from the tribe of Levi—twelve cities in all were given to them by the casting of lots.

41 As cidades dos levitas, localizadas no meio da terra que estava sob posse do povo de Israel, foram quarenta e oito cidades, incluindo suas pastagens. 42 Cada uma dessas cidades tinha suas pastagens ao redor. Assim foi com todas elas.

41 The cities of the Levites taken from the middle of the land possessed by the people of Israel were forty-eight cities, including their pasturelands. 42 These cities each had its surrounding pasturelands. It was this way with all these cities.

43 Dessa maneira Yahweh deu a Israel toda a terra que Ele havia prometido dar aos seus antepassados. Os israelitas a possuíram e nela habitaram. 44 Assim, Yahweh lhes deu descanso de todos os lados, conforme havia prometido aos seus antepassados. Nenhum de seus inimigos lhes pôde resistir. Yahweh entregou todos os seus inimigos nas suas mãos. 45 Nenhuma das boas promessas que Yahweh falou para a casa de Israel falhou. Todas elas se cumpriram.

43 So Yahweh gave to Israel all the land that he swore to give to their ancestors. The Israelites took possession of it and settled there. 44 Then Yahweh gave them rest on every side, just as he had sworn to their ancestors. Not one of their enemies could defeat them. Yahweh gave all their enemies into their hand. 45 Not one thing among all the good promises that Yahweh had spoken to the house of Israel failed to come true. All of them came to be.
