1 Esta é a benção com a qual Moisés, o homem de Deus, abençoou o povo de Israel antes de sua morte. 2 Ele disse: "Yahweh veio do Sinai e Se levantou de Seir sobre eles. Ele raiou do monte Parã, e veio com dez mil dos Seus santos. Fogo saía da Sua mão direita.

1 This is the blessing with which Moses the man of God blessed the people of Israel before his death. 2 He said: Yahweh came from Sinai and rose from Seir upon them. He shined out from Mount Paran, and he came with ten thousands of holy ones. In his right hand were flashes of lightning.

3 De fato, Ele ama Seu povo; todos os Seus santos estão em Suas mãos e estão ajoelhados aos Seus pés; cada um receberá Suas palavras. 4 Eu, Moisés, vos ordeno uma lei, uma herança para a assembleia de Jacó.

3 Indeed, he loves the peoples; all his holy people are in your hand, and they bowed down at your feet; they received your words. 4 Moses commanded us a law, an inheritance for the assembly of Jacob.

5 Então, Yahweh se tornou o Rei em Jesurum, quando os cabeças do povo reuniram todas as tribos de Israel. 6 Deixa que Rúben viva e não morra, mas que sejam poucos os seus homens.

5 Then there was a king in Jeshurun, when the heads of the people had gathered, all the tribes of Israel together. 6 Let Reuben live and not die, but may his men be few.

7 Esta é a benção para Judá. Moisés disse: "Ouve, Yahweh, a voz de Judá, que Tu o reúnas ao seu povo novamente. Lutes por ele; sejas um socorro contra seus inimigos".

7 This is the blessing for Judah. Moses said: Listen, Yahweh, to the voice of Judah, and bring him to his people again. Fight for him; be a help against his enemies.

8 Sobre Levi, Moisés disse: "O Teu Tumim e o Teu Urim pertencem ao Teu homem fiel, aquele que colocaste em teste em Massá, com quem lutaste nas águas de Meribá".

8 About Levi, Moses said: Your Thummim and your Urim belong to your faithful one, the one whom you tested at Massah, with whom you struggled at the waters of Meribah.

9 O homem que disse sobre seu pai e mãe: "Nunca os vi". Nem reconheceu seus irmãos, ou nem contou seus próprios filhos. Pois guardou a Tua palavra e manteve a Tua aliança.

9 The man who said about his father and mother, "I have not seen them." Neither did he acknowledge his brothers, nor did he take account of his own children. For he guarded your word and kept your covenant.

10 Ele ensina a Jacó Teus decretos e, a Israel, Tua lei. Ele colocará incenso diante de Ti e ofertas completamente queimadas em Teu altar.

10 He teaches Jacob your decrees and Israel your law. He will put incense before you and whole burnt offerings on your altar.

11 Abençoa, Yahweh, suas possessões e aceita as obras das suas mãos. Fere os lombos daqueles que se levantam contra ele, daqueles do povo que o odeiam, para que não se levantem novamente.

11 Bless, Yahweh, his possessions, and accept the work of his hands. Shatter the loins of those who rise up against him, and those of the people who hate him, so that they do not rise up again.

12 Sobre Benjamim, Moisés disse: "O amado de Yahweh habita em segurança ao lado dele; Yahweh o cercará o dia todo, e ele vive entre os braços de Yahweh".

12 About Benjamin, Moses said: The one loved by Yahweh lives in security beside him; Yahweh shields him all the day long, and he lives between Yahweh's arms.

13 Sobre José, Moisés disse: "Que sua terra seja abençoada por Yahweh, com as preciosas coisas dos céus, com o orvalho e com as profundezas que estão por baixo.

13 About Joseph, Moses said: May his land be blessed by Yahweh with the precious things of heaven, with the dew, and with the deep that lies beneath.

14 Que sua terra seja abençoada com as coisas preciosas da colheita feita do sol. Com as coisas preciosas dos produtos dos meses, 15 com as coisas mais excelentes dos montes antigos e com as coisas preciosas das eternas colinas.

14 May his land be blessed with the precious things of the harvest of the sun, with the precious things of the produce of the months, 15 with the finest things of the ancient mountains, and with the precious things of the everlasting hills.

16 Que sua terra seja abençoada com as coisas preciosas da terra e sua abundância e com a benevolência Daquele que estava na sarça. Deixa que a benção venha sobre a cabeça de José e sobre o topo da cabeça do que foi príncipe sobre seus irmãos.

16 May his land be blessed with the precious things of the earth and its abundance, and with the good will of him who was in the bush. Let the blessing come on the head of Joseph, and on the top of the head of him who was prince over his brothers.

18 Sobre Zebulom, Moisés disse: "Alegra-te Zebulom, em tua saída, e tu, Issacar, em tuas tendas. 19 Eles chamarão os povos para as montanhas. Lá, eles vão oferecer sacrifícios de justiça. Pois sugarão a abundância dos mares e da areia da praia".

18 About Zebulun, Moses said: Rejoice, Zebulun, in your going out, and you, Issachar, in your tents. 19 They will call the peoples to the mountains. There will they offer sacrifices of righteousness. For they will suck the abundance of the seas, and from the sand on the seashore.

20 Sobre Gade, Moisés disse: "Seja abençoado aquele que ampliar os domínios Gade. Ele habitará como a leoa e arrancará um braço ou uma cabeça.

20 About Gad, Moses said: Blessed be he who enlarges Gad. He will live there like a lioness, and he will tear off an arm or a head.

21 Ele proveu a melhor parte para si mesmo, pois era a porção do líder da terra reservada. Ele veio com os cabeças do povo. Ele carregou a justiça de Yahweh e os decretos de Israel".

21 He provided the best part for himself, for there was the leader's portion of land reserved. He came with the heads of the people. He carried out the justice of Yahweh and his decrees with Israel.

22 Sobre Dã, Moisés disse: "Dã é um filhote de leão que salta de Basã".

22 About Dan, Moses said: Dan is a lion cub that leaps out from Bashan.

23 Sobre Naftali, Moisés disse: "Naftali, satisfeito com favores e cheio das bençãos de Yahweh, toma posse da terra do oeste e sul".

23 About Naphtali, Moses said: Naphtali, satisfied with favor, and full of the blessing of Yahweh, take possession of the land to the west and south.

24 Sobre Aser, disse Moisés: "Abençoado seja Aser, mais que os outros filhos; que ele seja aceitável para seus irmãos e que ele mergulhe seu pé em azeite de oliva. 25 Que as pilastras da cidade sejam de ferro e bronze; assim como os teus dias, tão longa será tua segurança.

24 About Asher, Moses said: Blessed be Asher more than the other sons; let him be acceptable to his brothers, and let him dip his foot in olive oil. 25 May your city bars be iron and bronze; as long as will be your days, so long will your security be.

26 Não há outro como Deus, Jesurum — o mais alto, que cavalga sobre os céus para te ajudar, e, na Sua majestade, sobre as nuvens.

26 There is no one like God, Jeshurun—the upright one, who rides through the heavens to your help, and in his majesty on the clouds.

27 O eterno Deus é o refúgio e, abaixo, estão Seus braços eternos. Ele derrotará o inimigo diante de vós, e dirá: 'Destrói-no!'.

27 The eternal God is a refuge, and underneath are the everlasting arms. He thrust out the enemy from before you, and he said, "Destroy!"

28 Habitará Israel em segurança. A fonte de Jacó estava segura em uma terra de grãos e vinho novo; de fato, que os céus gotejem o orvalho sobre ele.

28 Israel dwelt in safety. Jacob's spring was secure in a land of grain and new wine; indeed, let his heavens drop dew on him.

29 Abençoado és tu, Israel! Quem é como tu, um povo salvo por Yahweh, o escudo do teu socorro, e a espada de tua majestade? Teus inimigos tremerão diante de ti. Tu acabarás com seus lugares altos".

29 Your blessings are many, Israel! Who is like you, a people saved by Yahweh, the shield of your help, and the sword of your majesty? Your enemies will come trembling to you; you will trample down their high places.
