1 Naquele tempo, Yahweh me disse: "Esculpe duas tábuas de pedra, como as primeiras, vem até a Mim na montanha, e faze uma arca de madeira. 2 Eu escreverei nas tábuas as palavras que estavam nas primeiras tábuas que quebraste, e tu as colocarás na Arca".

1 At that time Yahweh said to me, 'Carve two tablets of stone like the first, and come up to me on the mountain, and make an ark of wood. 2 I will write on the tablets the words that were on the first tablets that you broke, and you will put them in the ark.'

3 Então, fiz a Arca de madeira de acácia, e esculpi duas tábuas de pedras, como as primeiras, e subi à montanha, tendo as duas tábuas em minhas mãos. 4 Então, o Senhor escreveu os Dez Mandamentos nas tábuas, como fizera nas primeiras, os mandamentos que Yahweh havia falado para vós no monte, no dia da assembleia, do meio do fogo. Então, Yahweh entregou-me as tábuas.

3 So I made an ark of acacia wood, and I carved two tablets of stone like the first, and I went up the mountain, having the two tablets in my hand. 4 He wrote on the tablets, like the first writing, the Ten Commandments which Yahweh had spoken to you on the mountain out of the middle of the fire on the day of the assembly; then Yahweh gave them to me.

5 Virei-me, desci da montanha, e coloquei dentro da Arca as tábuas que havia feito. Ali estão elas, como Yahweh me ordenou.

5 I turned and came down from the mountain, and put the tablets in the ark that I had made; there they are, as Yahweh commanded me."

6 (O povo de Israel viajou de Beerote-Bene-Jaacã para Mosera. Ali, Arão faleceu e foi enterrado. Eleazar, seu filho, serviu como sacerdote em seu lugar. 7 De lá, partiram para Gudgodá, e dali para Jotbatá, uma terra de riachos.

6 (The people of Israel journeyed from Beeroth Bene Jaakan to Moserah. There Aaron died, and there he was buried; Eleazar, his son, served in the priest's office in his place. 7 From there they journeyed to Gudgodah, and from Gudgodah to Jotbathah, a land of streams of water.

8 Naquele tempo, Yahweh escolheu a tribo de Levi para carregar a arca do testemunho de Yahweh, para servir diante de Yahweh, e abençoar as pessoas em Seu nome até hoje. 9 Portanto, Levi não teve a porção da herança da terra com seus irmãos. Yahweh é sua herança, como Yahweh, seu Deus lhe disse).

8 At that time Yahweh chose the tribe of Levi to carry the ark of the covenant of Yahweh, to stand before Yahweh to serve him, and to bless people in his name, as today. 9 Therefore Levi has no portion nor inheritance of land with his brothers; Yahweh is his inheritance, as Yahweh your God spoke to him.)

10 "Estive na montanha, como na primeira vez, quarenta dias e quarenta noites.Yahweh escutou-me ainda esta vez; Yahweh não desejou destruir-vos. 11 Disse-me Yahweh: 'Levanta-te, vai na frente do teu povo para liderá-lo em sua jornada. Eles entrarão e possuirão a terra que Eu jurei dar a seus antepassados'.

10 "I stayed on the mountain as at the first time, forty days and forty nights. Yahweh listened to me that time also; Yahweh did not wish to destroy you. 11 Yahweh said to me, 'Arise, go before the people to lead them on their journey; they will go in and possess the land that I swore to their ancestors to give to them.'

12 Agora, Israel, o que Yahweh, teu Deus, requer de ti, exceto que O temas, que andes em todos os Seus caminhos, que O ames, e O adores com todo o teu coração e com toda a tua alma, 13 guardes os mandamentos de Yahweh, e Seus estatutos, que hoje estou te ordenando para teu próprio bem?

12 Now, Israel, what does Yahweh your God require of you, except to fear Yahweh your God, to walk in all his ways, to love him, and to worship Yahweh your God with all your heart and with all your soul, 13 to keep the commandments of Yahweh, and his statutes, which I am commanding you today for your own good?

14 A Yahweh, teu Deus, pertencem o céu e o céu dos Céus, a terra, e tudo o que há nela. 15 Somente Yahweh teve prazer em teus pais e os amou, e Ele vos escolheu, descendência deles, mais do que as outras pessoas, como Ele faz hoje.

14 Behold, to Yahweh your God belongs heaven and the heaven of heavens, the earth, with all that is in them. 15 Only Yahweh took pleasure in your fathers so as to love them, and he chose you, their descendants, after them, more than any of the other peoples, as he does today.

16 Portanto, circuncidai o prepúcio do vosso coração, e não sejais teimosos. 17 Pois Yahweh, vosso Deus, é Deus dos deuses e Senhor dos senhores, o Poderoso Deus, o Temível, que não discrimina as pessoas e não aceita suborno.

16 Therefore circumcise the foreskin of your heart, and no longer stiffen your necks. 17 For Yahweh your God, he is God of gods and Lord of masters, the great God, the mighty one and the fearsome one, who favors no one and takes no bribes.

18 Ele executa a justiça para o órfão e a viúva, e mostra Seu amor para o estrangeiro, alimentando-o e vestindo-o. 19 Portanto, amai o estrangeiro; porque fostes estrangeiros na terra do Egito.

18 He executes justice for the fatherless and widow, and he shows love for the foreigner by giving him food and clothing. 19 Therefore love the foreigner; for you were foreigners in the land of Egypt.

20 Temerás Yahweh, teu Deus; a Ele cultuarás e te apegarás, e, em Seu nome jurarás. 21 Ele é a razão do teu louvor, e Ele é teu Deus, que tem feito por ti grandes e temíveis coisas, as quais teus olhos têm visto.

20 You will fear Yahweh your God; him will you worship. To him you must cling, and by his name will you swear. 21 He is your praise, and he is your God, who has done for you these great and fearsome things, which your eyes have seen.

22 Teus pais chegaram ao Egito, em setenta pessoas, e Yahweh, teu Deus, te tem feito mais numeroso do que as estrelas do céu.

22 Your fathers went down into Egypt as seventy persons; now Yahweh your God has made you as many as the stars of the heavens.
