1 Naquele tempo, Miguel, o grande príncipe que guarda o teu povo se levantará. Haverá um tempo de tribulação como nunca houve desde o início de qualquer nação até então. Naquele tempo, teu povo será salvo, todo aquele cujo nome for achado escrito no Livro. 2 Muitos desses que dormem no pó da terra ressuscitarão, alguns para a vida eterna e outros para vergonha e desprezo eterno.

1 At that time Michael, the great prince who guards your people, will rise up. There will be a time of trouble such as never was since the beginning of any nation until that time. At that time your people will be saved, everyone whose name is found written in the book. 2 Many of those who sleep in the dust of the earth will rise up, some to everlasting life and some to shame and everlasting contempt.

3 Aqueles que são sábios resplandecerão como o brilho do céu acima, e aqueles que convertem muitos para a justiça brilharão como as estrelas, para sempre e sempre. 4 Mas tu, Daniel, sela estas palavras; guarda o livro selado até o fim do tempo. Muitos correrão aqui e ali, e o conhecimento aumentará".

3 Those who have insight will shine like the brightness of the sky above, and those who turn many to righteousness are like the stars forever and ever. 4 But you, Daniel, close up these words; keep the book sealed until the time of the end. Many will run here and there, and knowledge will increase."

5 Então, eu, Daniel, olhei e havia outros dois em pé; um ficou de um lado da margem do rio e o outro do outro lado. 6 Um deles disse para o homem vestido de linho, aquele que estava rio acima: "Quanto tempo haverá até o fim desses eventos maravilhosos?".

5 Then I, Daniel, looked, and there were two others standing. One stood on the bank on this side of the river, and one stood on the bank on the other side of the river. 6 One of them said to the man clothed in linen, the one who was upstream along the river, "How long will it be to the end of these amazing events?"

7 Eu ouvi o homem vestido de linho, que estava rio acima, ele levantou suas mãos para o céu e jurou por Aquele que vive para sempre, que haveria um tempo, tempos e metade de um tempo. Quando o poder do povo santo tiver sido destruído, todas essas coisas terão acontecido.

7 I heard the man clothed in linen, who was upstream along the river—he raised his right hand and his left hand to heaven and swore by the one who lives forever that it would be for a time, times, and half a time. When they finish shattering the power of the holy people, all these things will be completed.

8 Eu ouvi, mas não entendi. Então, perguntei: "Meu senhor, qual será o resultado de todas essas coisas?". 9 Ele disse: "Vai-te, Daniel, porque essas palavras estão lacradas e seladas até o fim dos tempos.

8 I heard, but I did not understand. So I asked, "My master, what will be the outcome of all these things?" 9 He said, "Go your way, Daniel, for the words are shut up and sealed until the time of the end.

10 Muitos serão purificados, limpos e refinados, mas os maus agirão com maldade. Nenhum dos maus entenderá, mas aqueles que são sábios entenderão. 11 Desde o tempo que o sacrifício diário for tirado e a abominação que causa completa desolação estiver estabelecida, haverá um mil duzentos e noventa dias.

10 Many will be purified, cleansed, and refined, but the wicked will act wickedly. None of the wicked will understand, but those who have insight will understand. 11 From the time that an end is put to the regular burnt offering and the abomination that causes complete desolation is set up, there will be 1,290 days.

12 Bendito é o que espera até o fim de mil trezentos e trinta e cinco dias. 13 Tu deves seguir teu caminho até o fim, e descansarás. Tu descansarás e te levantarás no lugar designado para ti no fim dos dias".

12 Blessed is the one who waits until the end of the 1,335 days. 13 You must go your way until the end, and you will rest. You will rise in the place assigned to you, at the end of days."
